Poetry Rhyming Challenge

Rules:

must rhyme

Everyone must write TWO lines for the poem, and leave a common word for the next poet.

Make sure your word benefits the lines you just wrote.

(please don't go crazy with the words, lol) simple words are preferred.
no slang or explicit words please.
no plagiarism
have fun.
When it reaches 20 lines, I will post it as my first poem, giving credit to all who participated of course. :)

Memories attack me from all directions,
as my tears express thoughts that should not be mentioned.

Word: pain

My life is so full of sadness and pain,
A life of happiness is so hard to sustain.

All i want to do these days is cry,
Some days i just want to give up and not try.

Through my fear, fights the sad,
Wrapping a choking me, i wish to be glad,

next word: Fear

Why make every directing word a cliche'd or overwrought subject?

Yes, I believe Drew here is right. It's too cliche.
