What to do when....

What can you do when the one person u believed in and was everything in the world to you has betrayed your trust........... When in your heart he was the greatest man in the world........ and all was but an image painted in the wall............

Realize that no matter how 'perfect' anyone is, that people are all still flawed (including yourself) and you can't fault them for that. I would remain polite and nonhostile, but I would guard myself from that person completely. Respect would be lost, and need time and something major to build it back up.
