friend in need

i have a friend who attempted sui the other night and wants to try agian. I used to be the same way, and i have tried everything i can to talk her out of it, but none of it is working, Do yall have any advice, it woudld be much appreciated, because she means the world to me

No, I think Bob's idea is a good idea. It would very likely to shock the person, and stop them committing suicide.

you just need to make her realise that she is wanted and that people needed her. tell her no matter how hard it s that you will stick with her and stand by her side.

Be straight forward and bold... Go over to her house. Sit down next to her and tell her you love her. And you will not leave until everything gets out the open. let her vent to you and just say you care about her and try n give her advice (i know ppl say its bad to offer advice in these situations, but believe me.. offering someone advice always helps).. and if your no good at it then just keep listening and sayin you care. I promise this will work. People just need to feel loved. You can't dance around the subject you have to be straight forward and most importantly, you have to be a good friend.

by the way Bob... its too fragile of a situation to use tough love. People who are suicidal try to push people away so they don't feel guilty when they try to attempt to kill themselives. The best thing you can do is be there for someone, sometimes even overbearly, they need to feel loved so they can gain confidence to recover.

Talk to her about her reasons for wanting to die. Tell her you want to understand and sit with to t figure it out. Give her a long time, and help her explain to you what's going on in her head. I know I have tried to kill myself more times than I would like to admit, so yeah. I don't know if she likes peoms, but I have written many on the subject that might be useful, particularly these few:
