Super Poem......everyone invited

are we destined to destroy ourselves?
are we doomed to forever be corrupt?
will humanity have what it takes to change?
or will we fall short?

The tempest rages as
the earth does quake,
I seek forgiveness
for every mistake

losing what it takes to be a parent
to give the tender needed caring
becomes what money can bring
to keep the child happy and away

will humans forever
attach ourselves to posessions;
only to attain them
then throw them away?

Will this world find peace
Instead of bloodshed on a battlefield
Can our soldiers erase memories
Of heartache they've endured?

Children laughing round the park,
Although their mother warned,
Not to stay unto the dark,
The man of child destruction through the shadow dawned.

So the small ones have been warned,
stay clear of the dark shadows and do not stray.
Otherwise you will be taken away
to a place of cold and suffering, where you cannot play.

All of history's past mysteries
destroyed by a dreadful death...
So, a fading life awaits its drama:
an insincere comedy with a tragic end.

Marx foretold that capitalism
would bring on a sense of alienation
even in our leisure time.
So smoke the weed
and drink the wine -
still we cannot find
what happened to the
good times.

three homeless men are beaten
one now is dead
three teenage boys are in jail
pre-meditated murder the judge said

She is one of Gods littlest angels
her life taken away to soon
she was tortured by her step-dad
instead of being given the moon

Fallen forgiveness
That treads on life,
Through the cemetaries in Eden
That shows mans fights.

so many questions in my mind
nobody can answer...
why is it so hard to tell the truth
and so easy to tell a lie

I think Bob took it too literally when he said we would STOP on the 21st of January. He actually meant the thread would die... Haha. Just kidding. I am anxious to see the final result.
