A Little Confused

Theres this guy that I've known for awhile and have recently become really attached to... I've been told by a few people that he likes me and I like him too... I wonderd why he didn't ask me out then if he liked me so much and they told me he was really shy and stuff like that and nervous... So today I asked him out through this cute little note... It didnt go as I planned though because I tried to show the note to this girl that sits with him at lunch and when I did I guess she got a little excited because before I knew it she was trying to give it to him, but I wanted to give it to him in quiet... But the girl couldnt keep her mouth shut so she was like steve sam has a note in her hand for you and its asking you out. So then yeah I had to give it to him and everyone was crowding around him wanting to read it and they were like well answer her and he didn't... he just kept talking to this other guy like nothing happend... I guess I was a little dissapointed but I really don't know what happened... It was total chaos and I felt so bad all day...

He never answered me... So I wrote him another note apologizing for it being so crazy and told him how I felt and gave him my numbers and stuff... But he hasn't talked to me about it and I'm really scared because I like him so much but I don't want to ruin our friendship... The girl who kinda ruined it for me was pushing past a comfort level with both of us... she kept asking him to answer me... she said that I should make the first move.. But wasn't asking him out kinda the first move? She kept writing little notes to me telling me to sit closer to him but I didn't want to push him into something he didn't want... What should I do? I'm so confused and have been upset all day...

hmm, that's a tough one.
i dont think you should've written him ANOTHER note.
Maybe for him right now it's just a little awkward, having everyone crowd around him "forcing" him to give an answer. Since you said he's shy, maybe he was just a little embarrased from all the attention and didn't know what to do?
Don't take my word for it, thats just my opinion since I am really shy too.

I kinda had to write him another note because I felt so bad... I was so embarresed that people were making such a big deal out of it I couldnt even look at him... I dont know what to do... Do you think he'll come around and answer me or do you think it'll just be something that is like no talked about....????

do you think if i asked him to go get lunch with me in school tuesday (no school monday) that he would... or do you think that i should wait... or thats a bad idea.. cuz i dunno how to talk to him.. becaue i dont want him to feel like i'm pushing him into it.. even though i'm pretty sure he likes me... but do you think that getting lunch is an idea since thats like when i see him or do you guys have any other ideas???

so it would be a good idea to go over and sit with him for awhile?
