breaking the ice

hey everyone i have a problem maybe you guys can help me out with:

ok im a guy and i wanna talk to this one girl i see at school. im 17 and shes 14. shes the little sister of a good friend that i have. im what most people called "emo". yeah i wear the girl pants, i listen to the used and my chemical romace and i wear eyeliner and all that crap. basically im the biggest emo kid in the school and everyone knows it. well i really wanna talk to this girl because she has everything i wanted in a girl. shes just as emo and she likes the same bands as me. the problem is that both of us are really shy and her sister tells me that she has trouble talking to guys. she also said that she knoticed me cuz we both have to same taste in music and emo fashion. i really wanna talk to this girl but i dont know how to break the ice. i dunno what to say, or how to start a convo. ive tried 4 times to talk to her but everytime i try i freeze up and i cant talk. i really need help. from a girls point of view. please help me.

breaking the ice isnt always easy.. but it can be if you know how... for me personally i like to start conversations with people with a topic that we both know a lot about... like you say your both into the same bands so use that as an ice breaker... just get her to start talking and you'll be fine... trust me girls like to talk.. i would know.. yeah but sounds like you have a lot in common... so ask her opinions of some different bands and what she thinks... and once you get her talking she wont be able to stop... yeah.. but good luck.. i wish the best
and if that dosent work dont get discouraged... she'll eventually come around.. but if you know that shes shy its probley best for you to start the conversation or it might never start... but if you need more help my AIM is luvandbask3tbal ... soo good luck!

dont worry about the age thing. her dad is a cop and her sis is a cop in training and they both know i have no intension of doing anything bad. plus they actually aprove of me because my friend brought it up to her dad, and the dad knows i wont do anything bad.
