Personally, it's harder for me to not rhyme. Ever since I started writing poetry, rhyming has just come naturally to me. I can write without rhyming, too, but I always feel those poems aren't as good as the rhyming ones. |

When I write poetry I usually do not Rhyme. sometimes I wish it was easier for me to do so, just so I can try a different form of poetry. Sometimes when I try to rhyme the poem seems to lose the meaning of it. Anyone have any advise for me? |

I prefer to rhyme because it seems almost smoother, but most of the time the poems that really get to me are the ones which don't ryhme. |

Well, for me, If I'm suffering from writer's block I sometimes feel its easier not to rhyme and just write what I'm feeling. Sometimes its harder to rhyme even though most of my poems do rhyme. |

When I write, for some reason, my lines just happen to rhyme. I'm not really sure why, exactly, but it's just like it comes natural for it to rhyme. I've recently written a poem that didn't rhyme at all. In fact, it was the first poem, I think, I've written without thinking, "Oh. That doesn't rhyme!" or anything like that. Came out to one of my best, in my opinion. |

I find it harder to rhyme mainly because when i express myself i go with any emotion im feeling in that moment. Rhyming isn;t always the way my poems are formulated. |

Poetry is the sound of emotions. It is the written language of the heart. Most poems rythm, but not all. It is hard to not rhyme when your heart is singing the words. yet sometimes it is hard to find the right word, to rhyme. I did find a website that helps you to find a rhyming word however i do not remember it at this time, if you want me to look it up for you then send me a message. |

I think that common sense wise, it would be harder to ryhme because you have to think harder. But when writing poetry I think that its almost a natural talent that many poets have when it comes to ryhming. In a poem, you can either ryhme or not ryhme but either way you have to put your feeling into that peice of work. |

I would say both hard as eachother depending on how i feel at the time. sometimes i want to get the words out that quick i get annoyed they dont ryhme but then get annoyed not being able to find the correct ryhming word...very stressful lol |

I feel it's definitely harder not to rhyme. I prefer reading poems that rhyme (to be honest, I don't like poems that don't) and so I always rhyme when I write poetry. I can't help but feel the poem always sounds better when it rhymes. Otherwise Ialways feel it's more of a diary entry than a poem. Even my haikus rhyme. |

My poems don't rhyme, I think rhyming just limits my vocabulary and in the end I have something that doesn't fit at all with what I'm trying to say. |
