Racism against Spanish poetry

I exaggerated the title, but here is my complaint, a small one. While trying to submit a poem in Spanish, I have failed numerous times to put the correct accents: the website transforms them into funny signs.

While browsing the site even more, I found other Spanish poems, none of which contained accents. Now, some poetry can be fully understood without accents, but it is needed for the vast majority (because words lacking accents can mean something entirely different). I thus concluded I am not the only one with this problem.

I can only imagine how much a Norwegian will suffer with all those additional letters they have!

I plead to know if something can be made about this.

By the way, I was just kidding when claiming racism. Never take these posts too seriously. I was just attempting bad humour.

Wohl, what can I say? I did what you suggested, and guess what, the server just does not accept Spanish. Maybe it is too beautiful for this site? Haha. English is, after all, a very corrupted language, as Orwell masterfully argued in many of his essays. Anyways, let us hope something can be done in the future: not even the slang section acknowledges accents!

I guess this site is forever dooomed to not know the privileges of real Spanish poetry...
