In need of inspiration ...

I have nothing to write about . . .

When I don't have anything to write about I usaully listen to music until I get some kind of insperation.

No insperation, no poetry

Well, look up "dark art" on the internet.
What is not blood-thirsty vampires, I found, was very deep art. Ah well, best of luck, and good writing!

Go outside.. Sit in a forest or something.. That gives me alot of inspiration.. Or just sit all alone.. with candles everywhere.. Create a atmosphere that you really like.. :)

i think susa is righ. go outside and just think and see what comes, i hate it when i have no inspiration

It always helps me.. But at the moment, i have so many ideas for poem's that im starting to mix them all up >_<

But Try going outside.. :) You'll find something :)

Best way to get inspiration is from reading things, listening to music, falling in love, making some drama (not recommended lol), sit in the snow (or any other place with beautiful scenery).

hmm.. well when i write poems, they usually come alive when im inspired... every poem i write, comes from inspiration.. or some relation from my life... when i write... i think back and find experiences that really stuck out into my mind.. and use them for poems... or... when your thinking about what to write.. you usually need to be inspired... haha simple. no inspiration... you dont get much out of it to write a poem... think back on experiences if your stuck... and remember, most poems are coming from your imaganition which doesn't always need inspiration =)

dont think of things to write just go on with your everyday life and you will get inspired when you least expect it

not writing for a while is okay it allows you to take time and sit back and watch the world around. when your suppsoe to write it will come to you....good luck.

When racking my brain for an idea, i try to stay away from books, movies, radio, music, poetry.......etc.......I usually write some random words down, draw a few doodles, and something usually comes to me.....when in doubt look for something such as or me i look at the news, the depressing stuff....and take inspiration from there, maybe look at kids at a play ground.....people watching helps to.....!!!!!

Just wait, I write when a poem naturally forms in my head first OR listen to some music, sit outside and ly on the grass

think about some things you love. or think about some tragedies gonig no the world. think about anything rele. its a big world wiht lots of inspiration. p.s- you all helped me to!! i always get stuck!!

Well if you don't have anything, just wait. I usually read my old ones and fix them up, when I'm doing that I get ideas. Listen to songs, they help.
