i dunno how to help him

this guy that i had a major crush on a while back is now one of my closest friends... he has some problems and came to me for help but i dunno what to tell him... maybe you guys could give me some advice...

He used to date this girl... but he broke up with her cause she cheated on him... he forgives easy so they got back together but then he dumped her cause his friend liked her and he thought he should give his friend a shot with her... They both still love each other she tells him all the time how she wants to be with him but he wont let her becuase he dosent want his friend to get hurt... even though it hurts him... he told me one night that she broke his heart... his friends are the tape that hold it together... but there is this other girl that hes known since first grade and hes falling for her and he says she may be the glue that can permenitly fix his heart... i thought that was so sweet... and she likes him to... but shes sooo scared to ruin their friendship or be hurt... he tells me he hurts so bad becuase of it and i dont know what to tell him... he told me if he had the chance to marry her he would... but shes just to scared to be with anyone... i dont know what to tell him... but i feel so bad... i want him to be happy... he deserves to be hes so nice to everyone around him and is just so sweet... anyone who can help me it would be so great... thanks...

he has talked to her about it though... but she says that she couldnt do that to her friend... because that girl whos going out with his best friend crys when she sees him with other girls and becuase the new girl and the old girl are also best friends mel couldnt do that to her friend... and kevan doesnt know how to change her mind... but he loves her...
