Bob: It is one of the flaws of our society that image is so important to people what other people believe. It is wrong, yes so so so so wrong, the models that girls are supposed to look like are graphically modified, and many are anorexic themselves, yet it still happens. The media puts these skinny sickly looking girls in their magazines and says here world, this is pretty, this is beautiful, this is who you should be . . . and then the girls go home and look in the mirror and see that they are not like that, but many try to shrug it off, and then to add to that somebody comments on how she looks, the one thing that she is insecure about, and people are commenting on it. No it is not right, but kids have so many pressures to be certain ways, to fit in and feel excepted by others, and it can be life shattering when they do their best and it isn't good enough. It is sick that our culture is that way, I just know it how it is. I wish I knew I way to stop the downspiral because I have seen that story repay many times in my own life; in the people I see around me. |

wow, you were a model and you believed some idiot said you were ugly. obviously, the camera doesn't. and that's power. don't throw it away. moreover, don't listen to what critics say about you. just measure it in inches. |

no people let the image of society persuade them. i am happy that i am not stupid enough to let the world decide who i am. |
