Marriage is about love not gender!!

I dont have a problem with gays/bis/lesbians, i think that if they want to be together, that's great. I don't mind if they get married either, but i do not agree with them getting married in churchs, especially if it is against the religion.

NEWS FLASH ...this just in the pilgrims came from england to escape RELIGOUS persectuion. not to get away from the monarchy...hmmm i guess thats why the constition is founded on chrsitian morals...hmm ya i'm pretty sure thats right.

I'm kinda going back on myself here but just because the constitution was built on christian morals, doesn't it state in there that we are "free"? And free doesn't mean "You can do this but you can't do it to a certain extent." does it? I'm sorry I'm not making any sense am I.....lets see here.

As I was saying if your patient enough then I'm sure gay marriage will be legal in about oh maybe 5-10 years. To me that's not very long if your patient like love is to me...but then again that's what the bible says love is also and some of you obviously loath everything to do with the bible and us "bible huggers"

I have nothing against those who are gay or bi personally, but in my opinion it's good to be with oppisite sex like God intended. I think people have the right to choose, but i still think it's good to follow the bible.

hey Kilman, just because some people aren't religous, doesn't mean they have the TOTAL opposite belief of everything in the Bible.

And hey, ya know what? *I* go to a Christian school and am somewhat religous. But I do NOT discriminate against gays/lesbians/bis. I actually challenge my Bible teacher quite often. I don't think everyone who is 'religous' should jump right on the band wagon...I know it's wrong and it's a sin and blah blah BLAH. But I actually question the Bible a hell of a lot...I have a LOT of questions and there are things I'm against that ARE clearly stated in the Bible. Yoiu may say I'm not a true religous/Christian person because of that. And, admittedly, I've denied my Christianity for the past few years. But, I believe in God and all that grand stuff...I just don't agree with some ((ok, a lot)) of things in the Bible.

Discrimination against gays being one of them. You know, the Christians always claim to be open-minded and accept ALL people. That's not even close to true. Half the Christian schools around here kick you out if you're not 'straight' or if you've been sexually active and are pregnant. I think that's a bit hypocritical.

BUT, I'm getting off topic so i'll stop with my religous rambling. =)

I'd have to say it is. It's like saying "hey I'm an american but I don't think you have to follow the rules that the american government has set down for me." If your a christian it doesn't mean you have to agree with what's being said. You just need to follow.

Look I told you I have nothing against gays. Some of my best friends are homosexual, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with there beliefs. I go with mine and they go with theres. I believe that gay marriage isn't right in my eyes and gods eyes and beyond what any of you think I believe in what god thinks. But you don't have to believe what I believe. That's why we live in a free country. So we can talk like this and not be discriminated.

So keep on fighting and I'll probably see when ya'll do break through and make gay marriage legal. Just don't expect me to join the band wagon of everyone being gay and accepting gay actions.

oh and love is not about gender your right about that. I love my dad, my dog, and my little brothers, but marriage isn't all about love either. You don't have to love someone to marry them do you? If you did only about 25% of the couples married would still be together. Marriage isn't all about love.

You know what I find funny...Those who say

If you were not a homophobe you would not have included your friends in it. It will only show that you have friends for their differences and their sexuality and their diversity.

Frankly I found that people are rather scared of homosexual men and women, because they know that they might be attracted to them. Which in their minds will send them on a one way course to hell.

But you are right Kristen, that school system should be abolished, for making people feel ashamed for who they are.

This is one of those never ending debates...we could go back and forth...our opinions will never change. I think in order for one to change their beliefs on such a subject they must have a special experience...such as the one I had. I felt for a long time like many of you do however, I am now in a sense prochoice...on THIS subject. To each his own...

I said before I wouldn't want my child learning to be homosexual at school because it's the cool fad...however, it's one of those things we wish could have an exception. You shouldn't have barriers and rules on who your date can be to the prom. Though I respect the reasons it's not allowed in school. A rule is a rule and if you make exceptions for one you must make exceptions for all.

How many people think its wrong that they band same sex Marriages??

At school we have a vote on cutest couples and they wont let us vote on same sex couples they wont even let you go to dances and prom with another girl unless yall both wear a dress and act like best friends. This is wrong there are so many lesbian girls who dont like dresses. Guys cant even go together. This is really sad that the world has come to this. My friend Brittany is starting up a petition. If they dont let us go to prom and dances with other same sex people not acting like best friends than we arnt going. There are so many people in our school who are Bisexual, Lesbian, or just Gay. If they decide to go agaisnt us almost more than half of the school wont show up for the dances.

Thank you!!!!! Finally someone who thinks like me! :) I agree w/ you hun! Why are they tyring to ignore the fact that there are bi, gays, lesbians in this world. They can't change the way you feel about someone. You should hear all the nasty comments people have about a club at my school. It's called the Rainbow Connection and there are always people bashing the club and that is rude and wrong. Okay, if you have a problem w/ it, keep it to yourself, don't shout it across the whole classroom! :)

The government did not want to ban the Pledge of Alliance FYI it was very stiupid un proud american libreals who dont care about our freedom. Why argue about something like this? Everyone has there own beliefs and that will never change. Well Ismail i don't think it says anywhere in the bible that the first people God created were two men or two women. Obviously you aren't comprehending what i mean. I'm trying to say that God intended for men and women to be together. How do people produce babies? Well men and women make love together. I think God made it that way for a reason. If he had wanted there to be homosexuals he would have made it possible for those type of couples to produce? All i'm saying is that in my opinion, homosexuality is wrong.
