Why do girls make themselves all pretty when their boyfriends do

i dont know. i wear makeup, but not too much. and i dont think it's a problem, but just dont cake it on then you'll be alright. i dont think guys mind too much when you're at home and tired and dont look all glamorous.

Make-up is a horrible invention.

My gf looks good without it, and it's more honest and beautiful i think, on any girl.

It's like a mask of confidence, gotta look past the need for it.

I don't wear an awful lot of make up, and not as reguarly as I used to, but when I do, I do it to make myself feel more "pretty" if i'm having an "ugly day" i can stick on a bit of make up and at least hide behind a pretty face. x

most of the guy I dates say they hated womens who wear ton of make up. as for me I don't wear make up too often, only when Im going to party or somethin' special. Im a lazy person, so I hate puting on make up.

my boyfriend still thinks im pretty without make up and first thing in the mornin with my hair a mess when im ill and lookin my worst. i still wear make up because i wanna make an effort for him cuz to tell you the truth hes too good for me

I think the worst thing about wearing makeup is taking it off.... I wear only mascara and sometimes some eyeshadow... I think that guys if they are worth it won't care if you wear makeup or not. But the sad thing is, most guys do care. I think if you put it on so it's subtle, it'll be better, because he can't tell and he might think you look really pretty "without" makeup.

I don't like make up either. I feel like it suffocates my face and I noticed that if you start wearing all the time and one day don't wear any make up, people are going to wonder what happened to your face because they've become so used to seeing you without make up... I would only wear it for special occasions, but that's pretty much it.

Umm...Hi I am a guy, and I like to act on stage so I have to wear make up, only on stage, and I have to hand it to you women, I don’t know how you can wear make up more then 2 times a year. What I am really here to say is that I don’t really care much for make up and I personally like it better when women don’t wear it, it makes them look kinda plastic. I never got why my friends, who are women, wear make up to school, I mean there is no point in it, I don't know it's just one man's opinion.

i also feel that if my bf sees me without a little makeup i will scare him away...uh i hate makeup cuz it makes me feel beautiful with it and ugly without it.

girls are beautiful without makeup. they shouldnt hide behind any cosmetics they should just show their beautiful faces. my gf doesnt wear any makeup and she is beautiful the way she is.

To make themselves into women,and hide the flaws of everyday skin.

I hate make-up. It makes me look absolutely hideous, (mostly because I am horribly allergic to most of it so it makes my face brake-out worse than a thirteen year old boy) and, sadly, the only make-up I can wear is horribly expensive and I can not justify spending money on it.

i have a little bit of make up, but i hate to wear it...
i don't think my boyfriend cares too much, and i hardly ever wear any make up anyways... we've been dating for about 9 months, we don't get to see eachother a lot, but out of all the times we've sen eachother, even on dates? other than lip gloss, i've only had make up on once or twice

Truthfully, my girlfriend =P wears make-up sometimes, and its usually a lot, but i prefer her without makeup ^-^

You will look fine without it and you won't scare him off don't worry. If he truly cares about you he won't care, he might not even notice.

I hardly ever wear make up and my boyfriend tells me all the tiem that he thinks I am beautiful without it. He actually likes me better with otu make-up. Sometimes I feel fancy and wear some but never too much. I think it si more fo a mask than something to make you look better.

i only wear make-up to make me feel more confident... i wouldn't wear it for anyone elses benifit...

I admit I do wear make-up, but I do it cause it makes me feel better about myself. I wouldnt really care what people think, cause if they dont like me the way I am then the way I see it is there not worth it, but my boyfriend has never really seen me without make-up. He's seen me with very little but not none, and I dont know what he honestly thinks.He always tells me I'm beautiful, but I dont know what he would think with out it.

Im pretty sure (stand to be corrected) most guys prefer the natural look

I mean if you got your cake face on all day every day right - when theres something special on how do you look any different...

Just be yourself and whatever you do remember this word MODERATION

If you need makeup to impress a guy, then he's sleezy. Girls shouldn't have to go head over heals to impress a guy. They should just accept you the way you are. But there is no harm in looking pretty for a guy every once in a while.
