I Don't Know :-(

I had been talking to this boy for about three months and we thought that we were in love (maybe I am).
But my mom and some of my friends don't care for him. So I was put into a situation that I must choose him or listen to my mom. N E ways we broke up about a month ago, but I see him every other day which is confusing both me and him. I want to be with him, but I just don't want to deal with any mess. So when I see him we talk about going back out, but everytime he asks me I turn him down even though I really want to be with him(I think). Now he doesn't call me and our conversations are brief. I want him to ask me out again, but I think that it'll never happen. I think that if I want him I might have to take the step and ask him, but that's something I'm not ready for. On the other hand I don't know if I want to truly be with him or if I just want somebody to be there. Or since no one's there, I automaticallly want him.

I agree with the above post your not being fair to him tell him you dont know what you want instead of hurting him by drawing him in the pushing him away ..
I dont think your in love if you were you wouldnt care about what your family or friends said although your friends should be happy for you and your family will always disaprove of your boyfriends
Give it time and truly think about it listen to your heart it might be trying to tell you something!! XD

I agree with both above. You shouldn't hurt him because you're not sure. Tell him how you feel instead of hurting not only him, but yourself as well. You need to decide whether you want to try it again and see if there is any feelings left. If you really care about him you won't turn him down just because of family. One day if you meet a guy you want to spend the rest of your life with and your family doesn't like him, what are you going to do? Think about everything and decide for yourself whether you want to be with him.
