Why do people read and not vote or comment?

Why is it that when sumone reads a poem they don't always comment or vote and yet they want people to do for them? I always try to vote at least and have commented quite a few, I would love 4 people to comment and tell me what they think of my poems. I mean if they suck let me know, if they are good let me know that too.
I'm willing to read and vote/comment anyones poems if they just asked me too.......

yeah ive noticed that people dont always vote and comment, and i'll have to say that sometimes i dont either, but i try to. i'd love it if you could check out some of my stuff. i'll do the same for you, but i cant stare at the computer screen for much longer so i'll come back hopefully tomorrow...if not...just leave me a comment on one of my poems to come back and look at your stuff. i'd really like to read it! thanks :)

Some people do just like to read poetry. I know I do.. Every once in a while ill comment and sometimes vote.. but nothing beats just reading them.

What Baby B said is so true, sometimes I just read them cause that's the best of all:)
