Question for all. (Might be confusing)

My English class has to write a poem about war. The poem has to be about a human object(example: A shoe, Tv set, table) that you could picture being left behide after a war.

I have come up with the object: a locket. I am in the process of writing about it.

I was wondering(if you understand what Im trying to say) what human object do you picture being left behide after a war?
If you could tell me I would love to hear from you!

I always think of bullets, teddy bears, and notebooks.

maybe an old dimond ring i would do the locket if it was me,he could even be an old book or diary.
