Deactivating the Account

If there a way to deactivate the account, meaning the account is still there but no longer in use, something like yahoo or hotmail's activation plan. where if a person tries to relog again to the same email after a long time, he/she will lose all the emails but still can use it.

If there is not a way, then I suggest to do it, thus all those who want to delete their account stay the time and then if they discover they did a mistake, they should be able to relog in again, but in the process they'll lose all the poems on here and it will be as if they started a new account.

Hi, stated in the rules, rule #9

"If a member is inactive for over 60 days (has made no posts) their user name may be deleted."

    http://www.poems-and-quotes.com/discussion/forum_rules.html

Over 60 days of being inactive, the account will be deleted. If the user wants to continue using the site, they can reregister.

Also, if the member wants to have his/her account deleted, they can goto the Contact Us link at the bottom of the main screen. In the comment box, request to have your accont deleted.

He slept on the keyboard. Ismail, you are not online.

The reason he wants to leave is becuase it's useless to stay on here, simply said, he doesn't have the time to stay on here.

Any other questions, I'll be more tha happy to answer them.

Did you have to mention the sleeping on the keybord.

The reason is like you said, but I'm finding more and more time (like you always said, work smater =>less effort). But I think this should be locked, since there is nothing more to say.
