i'm getting married

i just got engaged i'm so happy but yet so young to young i said yes for some reason i just love him so much and he is the only thing that makes me happy he's the only thing that i have left and i don't want to let him go i just had to say yes we're looking forward to our special day but we will get married when we are really ready i can't tell my parents yet wish me luck

ok well i'm very mature for my age every one tells me that and 14 is a very young age don't you think he's 17 my parnets don't know but we will tell them when it's the right time btw i have no social life so i doupt i'l ever find someone new

Ok well...if you think you're old enough then whatever...but...if you live in the US...that's illegal so I hope you guys plan on staying together for like another 4 years....good luck...I guess...I don't agree with this at all. But...you're not my kid so whatever.

yeah it doesnt matter at all about the age just about the love in the relationship...my mom was 15 when she got married....so you could be married too....but if your parents were anything like hers...they will kick you out...hope ya got some place to go!

That was really negative Courtney lol. It's not like that's what all parents will do. I can see a lot of parents being disapproving at first but still supportive. Good luck with your marriage!

EDIT: Don't you have to have a parents permission to do this? (if you are in the US) I looked up the laws for here in michigan and I can't get married without a parents permission until I'm 18.

Well, I'm happy for you. My best friend is only 14 and shes pregnant. At least you can stop a marriage, but you can't stop a baby. Anyways. I hope you tell your parents soon and have a happy... marraige?

i no what u mean about getting married my boyfriend asked me to marry him to and im 19 and i still think im to young but i still said yes because he is the love of my life and i couldnt be without him.

Three things: First of all, congratulations! Secondly, if you're that much in love with him, I don't even think how old you are has anything to do with it. And lastly, I wish you tons of luck with telling your parents. Maybe they'll freak, but they are parents. They'll get over it.

age doesnt matter at all when it comes to love, honestly..

but the maturity and understanding that comes WITH age does matter, and so very much so..

at 14 your unscathed simplistic view on love differs greatly from what you would consider to be love when you get to be older.

Granted it could still work, but as others said, you better be prepared to wait a long time before you get married.
