    Mary had a little lamb
Whose fleece was made of gold
And Mary killed the poor sweet lamb
To buy herself vast riches she could own

Ok I have no idea how to write one of these but I'll give it my best shot .....

Three blind mice , not very nice
chasing down , those they found
presumed to be , not as smart as thee
having so much fun , now see them run
their foolishness done, now they have no one
yet they still can't see , to what degree
disrespecting some , makes them look dumb

Three blind mice it would appear
decided to scare the kitty with some fear
one would edge the kill, the other two would cheer

    yet little did they know
that the kitty would not go
    and would certainly show
what it's like to be below
    a kitty's defensive blow
    three blind mice feeling low
    because they're 5 feet below
    the grass that I mow................ahahahaha

Seriously....no animals hurt in this one ...ahahaha

This is an old nursery rhyme with alot of meaning behind a few words .... This is not mine, just thought I'd share

A wise old owl sat in an oak,
    The more he heard, the less he spoke;
    The less he spoke, the more he heard;
Why aren't we all like that wise old bird?

    My version :
A wise short-eared owl sat in a pine
    listening to people whine,whine,whine
    seeing people's growing greed
uncaring to the owl's dying breed
that wise old owl sitting in the tree
wishing only to be alive and free

Moral :(Some) don't appreciate what they had until it's gone . Be thankful for what we do have

What an excellent message Bob. For I have been guilty on occasion, especially when I am trying to study, of telling my children to hush up or go outside. I have to admitt though it does make me feel like a heel when I realize that I have not spent much "quality" time with them instead of "quantity" time.

    Oh, rare Harry Parry
    Why are you married?
You slept countless times behind your wife’s back
    Heart as though black
    I came to your wedding
    Through your bidding
I will have to tell your wife about your escapades.
