Removal of my account, or "correction" of.

For a start, I hope this is the correct board for this to be posted in, but hey! lol

Right. Basically, I've fallen out severely with several people from a website. These people actually took my hash (password) from the database, reversed it, and then got into my p&q account. They also used this password to access a site which I had moderator rights on. Thankfully I'm wiser with passwords now, but anyway.

Considering it was a guy called coolmofo2 who went into the site which I had rights on, I'm assuming it was him who did it here. This is because of how he edited/deleted my poems, to go along with a sick story that they (the previously stated people) are putting forward.

All the above information is relating to the account named Cognitive. Also, if you look at the comments on my remaining two poems, it kinda explains this further.

I hope someone can help have my account removed fully, or regain me access to my account (password was obviously changed, and the email of the account was also changed from my email (cognitive.techwise@gmail.com) to god knows what..)

Just to let you know, if you haven't guessed, I'm pretty annoyed at this (who wouldn't be, haivng there work edited and whatever), hence why I'm really pushing for something to be done.

    Really hope you can help.

Hi, stated in the rules, rule #9

"If a member is inactive for over 60 days (has made no posts) their user name may be deleted."

    http://www.poems-and-quotes.com/discussion/forum_rules.html

Over 60 days of being inactive, the account will be deleted. If the user wants to continue using the site, they can reregister.

Also, if the member wants to have his/her account deleted, they can goto the Contact Us link at the bottom of the main screen. In the comment box, request to have your accont deleted.

I hope that helps you. Good Luck!!!

that rule doesn't really apply. I've gone months without coming to this website and I still have my account...

I've been here a lot longer than you my friend. I can go like 7 months without logging in, and they do update. I still have my account...

Not that I would want them to delete it because I have a lot of poetry on here. I'm just saying I don't think they enforce that rule. BTW my name is spelled with an 'I' not an ie. And you spelled decide wrong.

That rule is basically there as a disclaimer. It says your name MAY be deleted, not WILL.

I don't think Janis has ever deleted an account just because they were inactive, but he retains the right to, and may do it at any given time.
