Too soon?

I don't know what to do. My b/f has started talking about marriage and telling me he knows when he wants to propose. Is that a bad thing? We're both madly in love w/ each other, and if we ever did marry, it wouldn't be till I'm out of school.

When I was 17 my boyfriend and I talked about the same thing. We loved eachother more then anything...so we thought. We broke up, and now here I am, 3 years later with the mad of my dreams. I'm going to be 20 soon and we're talking about marriage, but we've already said that it's not going to be till after we BOTH graduate from college, and we've both already said that it if it doesn't work out, then yeah...it would suck a lot, but then God didn't intend for us to be together. You're only 16...I wouldn't rush into it.

Thank you. I don't want to rush into it. I want to wait till after school and once I have a decent job, but sometimes, things don't go as planned. Yes, we keep saying we will be together forever, and maybe we will. It will be three months March 21st. Yes I love him with all my heart, but I'm waiting for marriage till I'm ready and I have told him that a few times. He understands and he is willing to wait for me. :)

Am glad ur waiting. There is so little chance that your marriage would last if you got married now. Ur 16!!!!!! And you have been going out for 3 months?!

yea im glad your waiting and at least he's understanding enough not to be mad at you since you want to wait....and if it is true love than what rally is the rush nothin will ruin it...stay strong -peace-

can you get married to someone you've only dated for 3 months? Geez.. i have been with my bf almost 4 months and we aint talk ing about marrige.. ANYWAYS.. you shouldnt rush into marrige.. wait until you have the degree.. the job and a place to settle down.. I mean if things went wrong at least you have something to back you up right?

Can you love someone you have only dated for 3 months? Wow things sure move fast these days. MARRIAGE is a big deal not to be taken lightly. I have been dating a guy for a year and love him very much and am pregnant with his baby....BUT I know for sure that I am not ready for a committment that huge.
