Losing It All ( New ConTest)

Hey everyone. id like to make a different kind of contest. i give u the idea, and u write a poem about it, in any way you want. you can take this idea wherever u want to take it. My idea is to write a poem about someone who is Going to go blind ( sight obviously) after living most their life with their vision, and suddenly losing it. now i dont care what approach you take for this one. it can be as long or as short as u want. the only rules are:

- No plagurizm
-as many poems as u want on this topic
- no swearing or bad language!
- make it meaningful, inspirational, hopeful, anything lol. just make it good
- Have fun with this

I will judge this contest on the 15th of march, or whenever there is a good amount submitted. and yes, i actually WILL judge and tell you the outcome.

ill judge on origionality, how meaningful it is, and how well it flows.

I see darkness as these eyes open.
And not the morning sunshine.
Tears form in these useless eyes.
Still stunned that I have gone blind.

I miss my family's faces and smiles.
And the beautiful sunsets by the sea.
I long to watch the stars at night.
I miss the way that it use to be.

Oh how I want to lay on my back;
and look up at the blue lit sky.
and pointing out different shapes;
that are in the clouds that roll by.

But most of how I miss the joy;
of seeing color all around me.
I cant see any beauty anymore.
Because black is all that I see.

Someone please...
Please turn on the light.
I see shadows moving around,
But nothing appears quite the same.

It's so dark in here,
Why doesn't anyone turn on the light?
What time is it now?
I thought we just finished breakfast.
Please answer me... Someone.

I remember walking in the park,
Just after my morning coffee.
I remember it was a clear blue sky,
I strolled along the thick green grass,
And watching the children play.

On my way back home,
A car ran a red light and struck me.
I remember so many people around me,
Asking if I was alright.
I remember telling them that I'm o.k.,
Stood back up and walking back home.

That was an hour ago...
I know my eyes are as wide as they can be,
But why can't I see?
What is happening to me?
Why is everything so dark and grey?

Life was full of colors and joy only yesterday,
Now it's dark and cold.
Why did this happen to me?
Images now exists only from my memories,
... just less then an hour ago.
My life...
Will never be the same...
Anymore.

A pair of eyes
look into this world
through the unfolded way
nothing much it can say

the shaded mirror
thus reveal itself
to every corner of its sight
seek for an eternity

O mortal
what on earth is going
no sun and rainbow
all merely black thick clouds

the boundless agony
inescapable agitating
begging for a chance
to give ones a face

O, a pair of eyes
would you do me a story...?
amid mountain cape with snow
how the water slowly flow

how wonderful Rose's feature
as it is a god's creature

a pair of eyes
have you ever feel...?
the world seems made of steel..
even though smile drawn on this lips

a pair of eyes
will u lend me a moment
to watch tonight falling star..
to take away all this scar..

the northern warm wind
touch the colorless grass
creates such emptiness.
struck the trackless mind

the endless tale of sky
waiting time pass by and by
braving the summer
till the everlasting..

Pictures in the mind

Remember the colours,
The beauty of the world,
Looking out over the valleys,
Seeing a rainbow in the sky,
The spectrum of colours,
That would brighten a rainy day,
Remember the glistening frost,
Laying on the ground,
Glistening in the moonlight,
Of a cold winters morn,
No longer can these things be seen,
I open my eyes and nothing is there,
I can still feel the frost on my skin,
The cold biting at my flesh,
But no more can I see the pure white,
Hear the grass crunching below my feet,
And smell log fires in the darkness,
But never again will I see such things,
For my sight has been stolen,
Taken from me by some invisible force,
Leaving my eyes useless,
Empty dark holes,
So I will have to use my memories,
To know the beauty of the world,
To see the delicate patens in the sky,
To witness the golden sun rise,
Feel the heat upon my face,
And the breeze though my hair,
But never can these things enter anew,
Only those sights of old now remain,
I will never more see the external world,
Left to rely solely on my mind.

As I look into your eyes

Yet when I take your glasses away
Just look harder you can see me

Who would have ever thought
You would ever go blind
It doesn't make a difference you will always be mine

With my picture in your head
Just smile at me
If you want Ill close my eyes forever
And see everything you see

Or perhaps just a touch
Just lay your head on my heart
Open your eyes
That could be the best start

Please dont be mad
Nor turn your back to me
Put the cane down
Grab my hand
I'll forever lead thee;

Our love wont change
Nor the way we speak
Our destiny is written
It's just you and me

Ill hold you closer
When you want to cry
Ill catch your tears
That is no lie

But at the end of the day
Ill go to sleep with you
For in the midst of the night you can see
That everything is just a dream

Youll wake up tomorrow
Right by my side
With a gentle kiss Ill see those beautiful blue eyes.

Ill caress your face
Stare you down
Take away every last frown

Kiss you softly
Forget about the world
Look into my eyes
You will always, forever, be my world.
