We Are Authors Not Poets

When you think about it, most of us on this site only know each other by the order in which we place the letters of the alphabet on the screen, and the order of the words formed by the order of the letters. Our fingers become wings and our thoughts are the wind beneath them. If truth were our goal I believe we could reach the alpha and omega which is eternity

Hmm. I'm neither. I can't write.

an author is the writer of any kind of text. why does everyone feel as if you have to be some big famous writer to be considered a poet or author. you don't have to have a published book to be an author. you are the author of anything you write. being famous doesn't make you a better person...atleast in my eyes.
