Personally I dont know what I would do I guess I wouldn't be able to answer this question unless I had the child growing inside me - its one thing to sit here and have your opinion on the subject but to be in the position in reality and actually HAVE to make such a decision would be completely different and amazingly difficult for any potential parents ...

I'm 13 and I just ran up on this from a friend..

I may be young but I have a good mind about these sorts of things.. Abortion is no joke and sex isn't either.. If you have sex (Even with protection) Your going to have a risk of getting pregnant.. If your not prepared to take that responsibilty you should not have sex.. Now on the other hand if your child has down syndrome: The baby can't help the way he/she was born.. Society isn't going to change.. But that does NOT mean you should get an abortion because the baby deserves to live.. It's like commiting murder to have an abortion even if the baby has a disease or a mental problem. It's wrong to have an abortion... I may be just some young girl rambling to anyone but I firmly beleive in what I say.. Those are my thoughts on it..

Of course they are not alive for the hunt of it all. When the child is forming in the woman’s body. It is her own choice what she wants to do with the baby, seeing it is part of her, and killing it would be “partial suicide”. So kids are not for killing, but when they are inside a mother’s womb, and she decides to have an abortion. It is her own choice, and no one should condemn her for it.

If it was wrong, then it would be abolished by now, but seeing that it isn’t wrong, and it is there for women who do not want their child, and seeing as this is a world where pro-choice is the norm in several parts of the western world, I think it is the decision for the woman and the woman alone, not yours.

From what I can tell, I think you are someone who wishes to control people’s choices and their lives as well. This is the real world mate, and in the real world we only lead our own lives rather than judge others.

I think that I would rather have a child that has Downs, because abortion is like murder :. putting a gun to someone's head pointblank and pulling the trigger. I could never do that. And I really don't think that I'd want to find out if my child had Downs anyway. Just like I wouldn't want to fnd out the sex of my baby either. If my baby has Down's then my baby has Down's there's nothing that I would do about it.
