wow.
was she joking around, or was this going on for a while? because it's one thing if it was a joke, but if she was acting serious...that's crossing the line.
but maybe there was a reason for this. is something important going on in her life now? maybe she needs help and didn't know how to tell you.
don't be mad at her until you know all the facts. talk to her. ask if any at home is wrong...
but don't cut her off from your life. maybe she just wants somebody to understand...

you know theres a disorder when somebody thinks they have a disease and they INSIST that they have the medicine and everything like that.
its kind of like a paranoia thing.

I think you should confront your friend with a caring and open mind talk to her,ask her if shes telling the truth and ask her to be honest about it...shes obviously messed up if shes lying about it but i would be wondering why she felt the need to do such a thing...
