in my opinion people write about two main things: what they want (need, love, long for...etc) and what they know (have experienced, discovered, known,feel...etc) For example someone who discovered...say a element (since i'm currently talking about that in science) so they write a long boring book all about it.(what they know) Or someone could secretly love their neighbor so they write a story/poem about how their neighbor falls in love with them. (what they want) I'm sure you ppl's could make a long arguement about this so go ahead and say i'm wrong. But this is how i see it. what do you ppl's think? |

usually when writing doesn't reflect what the writer either knows or wants (even just a little bit), it is shallow and unfulfilling. but, that's just my opinion. |

i usually write about love, whether i love or miss or want something, you know. or if im angry. i can't be told to write about something because its needs to be something i can relate to. i had to write a poem about sharing for english and it turned out SO bad because it wasnt something i feel so it was horrible. i have to read it in front of the class and i dont want to. |

Both sides of the argument are true. People usally write about how they feel or what they wont or know. |
