"Maybe you're just a "special" person." you know there is a rule about rude comments like that...

why would you get so defensive anyway? he was just stating his opinion. and to tell you the truth...i agree with him to an extent. i don't hate people who use grammar but i don't believe it is needed.

lookat me type this sentence.its a stupidrule anyway. im not using
    propper
    grammar. can you underStand me?

of course you can. i make grammar mistakes all the time in my poetry. it does not bring the poem down unless it's a really bad mistake which most of the time i fix. otherwise i don't care.

i believe grammar is needed. but not in poetry.

    e.e cummings had awesome poetry.

    did i not say this...

i believe grammar is needed. but not in poetry.

if they wouldn't accept it...i would say hey that's how it is suppose to be. and if they still didn't then i would just forget about it and keep writing the way i want too.

and again...e.e cummings had awesome poetry. and he didn't use grammar.

I read somewhere (I think it was about writing a certain poetic form that had very strict rules) that you have to master the rules before you can break the rules.

I think this might fit with grammar, too. Know how to be grammatically correct first, before you can take advantage of poetic license and dare to break the rules.

Personally, I feel that spelling correctly is not debatable. On the forums or in chat, it's not so bad, but in your poetry...take the time to spell it right.
