My friend needs advice

Ok my friend needs advice.

Pretty much her boyfriend cheated on her by having sex with another girl. Shes wondering if she should call it quits or not.

I told her this.

You go to a fancy resturant and order chicken, it makes you sick, and you hurt. The next time you go, do you give the chicken a second chance? I mean you don't know if it will make you sick, or if it will be allright.

I also told her that if theres no trust, then theres not relationship at all.

Any other advice?

thats what I said, I don't think that she should be with him, but as a friend I feel like either way I will be there for her.

Well recap- so he called her right after I posted that, and he called the whole thing off, he seemed all like.." we can still be friends, I know we can, I just don't want the label of "boyfiend" at the moment." etc.

Then I find out from another friend that, he was planning on breaking up with her for weeks, and he cheated on her more than once. The girl doens't know that at the moment, and we are debating on telling her that...

what do you think?

umm well it could be hard to tell her and might hurt her but what if she hears if from someone other than you she would feel really bad then so i say tell her less pain for her if it coomes from you not someone else.
