best friend stealer?

okay so my best friend has been seeing this guy on and off for about 6 months, sometimes they get serious about their relationship and other times they just are "taking a break" but wind up together again like two days later. I LOVE MY BEST FRIEND TO DEATH and her boyfriend is cool, he's one of the greatest. but i feel like me and my best friend have grown apart, and every time they take a break her and i get closer again. i have no clue wut to do because we've been friends for years so i don't want to loose her to some guy but i want her to be happy...and she's happy! please comment and give me advice!!

My best friend and I are going through a similar situation. It's a little different because her lifestyle and many many problems had something to do with it. I broke out of a long relationship and needed a way to spend my time...so I spent every waking second with her. It helped keep my mind off of things and I had a blast. I got caught up in some bad things and eventually decided to pull away. Well I met a guy and he had played a BIG part in me getting away from her. The thing is we grow up and new doors open. You'll always have each other but when you get older and find new things your best friend won't be around as much. If she's happy, be happy for her. My friend told me just yesterday that she loved me and missed me but that she was happy because she knew I was. It's a part of life we must deal with no matter how much we may not like it. It's never that your friend doesn't love you anymore she just have NEW things in life to explore. If the shoe was on the other foot you would be ok with it because you would have something to occupy your extra time that you USED to spend with her. BE HAPPY!!

thanx for the advice....i spent a while talking to her and her boyfriend today. i think all three of us know her and i were very close and now that we're growing apart it's weird. i mean instead of going to my house she's wit him...it's good, im happy if she's happy. but sometimes she ignores me cuz of him and i wish she understood how i felt. the reason she doesnt know is cuz my boyfriend goes to another skool, so when im wit him its only him and i and im not ignoring her cuz shes not there. but ur advice is good and i really appreciate it
