I'm so confused.

How come guys can be such jerks at one point. And act like they want you the next? How come they lead you on, and then act like nothing ever happened. I don't understand!! It makes me feel like I'm never going to be good enough for a guy. I feel ugly and fat everyday. I have the lowest self-asteem out of any person I've ever known.
Can anybody help me figure this out/understand?!

Well first off, tons of guys are like that. They show mixed emotions. Don't let tha fact that some guys are jerks bring you down. Everybody has at least one thing if not more that they don't like about themselves. Just because you think you're ugly, doesn't mean you are. I personally don't think anyone is ugly. Oh and if a guy judges by the way you look, they aren't worth crap. Guys that look at personality over looks are the type of guys that you should go for. I've gone through the same thing. When i was in middle school i always had low self-esteem, but once i got into high school and realized that the guys that judge by looks aren't worth it, things changed. That's all i can say. All you need to do is look in the mirror and tell yourself you're beautiful (i know that sounds corny). Good luck and i hope i helped a little.

Hey you helped a lot..Now I understand a little more. Well yeah, hopefully In High-School my appearences will change a little..and so Will I lol, as In higher Self-Esteem and all that...But yeah you helped a lot and now I think I've become a bit smarter lol :) Thanks a lot! xoxo

Hey Alison thanks a lot lol!! Well I do love my hair(coz its blonde) I love my eyes coz they blue, and I love my smile coz, it's so prettyful lol!! :D I also love my legs coz they are tan and a little scarred, but that's okay :) Anyways, you guys have made my confidence come up more. This morning I looked in the mirror and I'm like yeah :D..And Last night I was talking to a boy I really like till like 12 a.m!! He made me feel better. But I never met him, so hopefully when I do, his impression on me won't change :(

No problem. You remind me so much of myself lol. In middle school i thought negatively about myself, but now things are great :D. I'm glad i helped.

x-I used to be like that in elementary. The low self esteem thing yeah. It sucked, everyone hated me and made fun of me and I felt like shit. I almost felt like giving up. Actually lol.... I almost did. Then all of a sudden I got into Middle Skwl and everything changed. Idk if the way I dressed changed or the way I acted, just me, I changed. And since I got here I've been getting more ... popular u might say but don't worry I'm not preppy or anything. Actually I'm about as punk-rock as you can get. But with the whole guys leading you on, acting one way then another thing. You can't change that. Guys will always be that way. Don't worry tho, sooner or later you'll find one that has matured and grown up. I have. He's amazing. So don't worry. Have hope. Don't give up.-x x-Beth-x

Hey Beth. Yeah In elementary school I used to be..Sadly for like a 4th grader..like 145 pounds. And I'd get teased all the time and everything. It really sucked but now that I've come into M.S..Like Everything has changed. People starting get to the mature part and they don't have the tendancy to call you names as much or anything like that. It's gotten much better. But my self-esteem could still be so much higher. I mean you know, im Trying..Ppl on here are encouraging me!! N I keep trying everyday. I may start improving but hey. It takes so much time. Well Beth I'm happy you grew out of that stage!! :)

LOL yeah it is a good thing. I think things are going to get better for you. We all go through different stages. Things will get better but other things will happen to bring you down. As long as you are confident you will do great. Heh, well if you need anymore help email me. I'm glad to help!!
