New Award

I think we should have a new award for the number of votes you get:) that would be cool.. and may I know what the complain and praise buttons are for? = )

the complain button is for if you have a complaint about a comment that someone gave you.

the Praise button doesn't do anything...Janis(the owner of the site) was going to make it so that you can get an award if you where praised a certian amount of times...he made the button, but he never made the award.

it would never work as an award...people would abuse it just to get the award.

The praise (critic) award is not about poems, it is about the comments you make on other people's poems.

The current comment award is for how many comments you've made. Which is why you see so many comments like "Great job", "loved it", etc.

The critic award would be for the quality of comments and is not controlled by you, but by the people you comment on when they click the "praise" button.

Janis thought this idea would encourage people to give more meanigful, helpful comments.

I think that's a good idea! The 'praise' award would definately be an earned award and would show that the person can actually leave helpfull comments. *nods head* yup yup.

when you complain about a comment then a mod will review the complaint and they make action from that point. sometimes they make it so the comment won't appear for other people to view. but i won't abuse the complain button because if someone gives an honest critic you shouldn't just complain because they may have hurt your feelings. only use the button when someone is being rude like "your gay" or any comments like that.
