Expand Your Creative Mind

Not much about death - too much about life. You only need one poem to describe death. But you would need millions, of millions even, to write about everything in life. I like that idea . . . Of course - Love poems are popular, and there is a lot to write about in each particular person. Wow - you have just opened up a whole new creative flow for me. . . . hehehehe . . . thanks!!

    Peace. [Sole]

Ken nice idea but i hope that i don't have to experience someone close to me having cancer to write about it - even though i know it is unfortunate that cancer is so common.

I agree, Ken, there's so much about what people are feeling but I think if they described something else they might just realize how much of themselves they can find. Take my new poem: Intervention Divine. I didn't realize ntil after I read it a few times that I found a bit of myself in there. Someone who lost a good love a different way then the poem describes but still it was refreshing to see I related to it without even realizing it at first.

Who ever said you need a creative mind to write poetry is a fool. All you need is your heart, write down what your heart is feeling, being a poet doesnt Necessarily mean your stuff has to ryhme.
