for girl

hey gurl. why can't guys make up there minds. I know girls can't but boy are the ones who ask us out. I have a friend of mine i like and he said he liked me alot but wants to get to know me. I really like him and he likes me but he was telling his friends something else. I have never had a bf or my first kiss and all my friends have already had it by the age of 13 and im 16 and still haven't. It makes me feel so upset because i can't get anyone that will ever ask me out or anything. i am my own style and i most guys don't like what i wear because it is mostly black. it make me feel like i am crap when i can't find anyone that will ever one like me. can someone asnwer this. Why can't guys like girls for what we are not what we wear?

Well here's the thing, not all guys do that. I'm just like you. I wear a lot of black and red and dark green and hate really tight clothes and crap. I am different from so many girls and am considered a tom boy and am mocked because i actually like to work out doors and hate girly crap and have a very outgoing and random side to me. Don't for one second think that you have to change who you are. I like one of my friends and he likes me because i'm different then all the "preppy" girls at our school. Be yourself and if a guy doesn't like you for you, screw them. Trust me, there will be a guy who likes you for who you are and because you're different, you just have to be patient. You're 16, that's still young. You have two years of high school left and college (if you plan to go). Don't rush things. You dress that way because you like to be different and a lot of guys don't like that because they think girls should all be "girly" and wear those clothes they wear..i don't know why but just know that there are guys that are different. You just need to look hard enough to find them.
