So, here's the deal. I like this guy. He's like, a really close mate of mine. I've never been like, really really close to guys but this is the kinda guy that hangs at my house [like me, my friend, and him] and we trust each other and stuff... and there's always that kind of like, "could there be more" thing, since I like him and all...

BUT
My friend likes him. Apparently she's getting over him and she almost is over him but yeah. Unwritten girl laws.
AND
It might ruin the friendship.

As of yet I'm not planning to make a move. He just went away for like 10 days so I won't see him, and when he comes back he's coming to my place. Buuuut, I just don't know whether I should just drop it and try to get over him or see if there's something there.

You have to think is your friendship with him special to you? Is having a relationship with him more important then his friendship because theres always a chance it could ruin your friendship in the long run [ i know from experience] Me and my friend dont even talk anymore.
You should also be sure that he feels the same way because if he doesnt your friendship will be akward from then on and that also can ruin the friendship but if you reaLly believe theres something there and you know its what you want im sure you've given alot of thought to it just be careful ok if you make a move i wish the best of luck to you and your friend♥

Yeah the friendship is really important to me, even before I liked him I loved him so much, just because of who he is in my life.
And I'm not totally sure whether he feels the same way, honestly I can't tell, and he isn't the kind of guy who tells people who he likes...

So yeah I'm not sure, I'm trying to be careful because I really don't want to lose him as a friend.\

If something does happen romantically with you two and things dont work out.. which they probably wont considering you're young and probably haven't found "the one" yet..
If it dosent work out, and you guys still remain friends or never speak to eachother again..it will be really awkward either way. I've had friends date and now they're not together anymore and the years of friendship is gone just like that.. so my advice would be to just think carefully.

I will not tell you what to do, but just think about everything..
What do you think will happen if it doesnt work out?

well if you really, truly think that there might be something more that just friends, then make a slight move.. but if ur not so sure, i think u should wait and see what happens next... i lost a good friend of mine just cuz we went out for a while ... our friendship broke BECAUSE of our relationship so i dunno.. it might be a good idea to keep a little quiet if ur not 100% sure... wish u luck in everything!
