Random Poetry - most original theme wins

if you have a poem with an original theme or expressing an original opinion then enter them into this contest, if you don't then get writing one!!

Rules:
*1 - no more than 30 lines
*2 - happy poems preferred but anything is welcome
*3 - only one poem per poet
*4 - only post the title here not the whole poem
*5 - if your poem contains explicit language/theme please say so when u post the title

Prizes:
1st - added to my favourites and i will comment and vote on all of your featured poems
2nd - i will comment and vote on 3 of your poems
3rd - i will comment and vote on 2 of your poems

*may i suggest, to encourage community spirit, that everyone who enters comments on everyone elses poem, this is not compulsory but will be taken into consideration during judging*

everyone who enters will recieve a comment from me

CONTEST ENDS after 20 entries, or there abouts, any posted after 20 are not guaranteed to be judged but may get a comment for trying!

I'm crawling backward
through cold sludge
on scarred concrete-
dirty, graying snow
thaws in my trail

My mouth is open-
head down and eyes
stinging- while I sip
what's left of the
car-tred and fallen-sky

I taste rubber-slush
and filth; and freezing flesh
swallows itself, into
a permanent grimace
while I attempt to crawl
from out of my skin

Hunger Bites and I can't
remember where I am
or what songs im supposed
to sing. Suddenly,
I remember everything:

"I'm crawling forward
and toward the sun
from out of my shadow.
Chalkboard-nails scratch
this itch, and every minute
I feel your gentle step upon
those shattered mirror-skies,
where Once I tred, Now
I fly."

Sean Dohr - just a tiny suggestion; try changing the word 'burning' ( fire that will never burnout) to something else, eg raging or blazing
