Box Of Joe - a boxed Joe??? no no, a box of Coffee
Mouse - a small rodent, but you can get one with your computer now a days
A Fag - usually known as a gay person, but don't forget to light it up
A CD - a compact disc, but you can always deposit with a fixed intrest rate

18 years agoWell not that I really have a funny one as the ones above (I loved the wording of those, *giggles way to much for own good*)
But one that is starting to bother is me the constant change of the word:
Gay : At one time it meant 'happy', now it means homosexual... And yet I hear my little brother calling objects homosexual whenever they annoy him or don't work properly...Make sense? -

18 years agoI agree Jacklyn. I'm the worlds worst for using both of those words, not really meaning them in that way. So to break the habit I say the words Republican and Democrat instead...lol.
Now here's my addition to the list:
Cock-used to refer to a chicken, now it's something, well you know....
Queer-used to mean odd or strange, now it's a derogatory (sp?) term for homosexuals.
Screw-used to be something that a handyman would use to fix things, now it's what a handyman does to his wife or customers depending on his rates. -

18 years agoHuff - used to be something that someone did when they were upset, but now it means to inhale fumes inside of a paper bag
Ball - an innocent childhood toy that i loved to throw across the isles at WalMart...now it is a slang term for a dude's "junk"
Junk - used to mean a pile of useless rubbish, but now means a person's "booty" or private parts
Booty - used to be prized possessions that pirates often searched for, but it now refers to someone's buttocks
Ass - used to be a donkey, actually still is a donkey, just a little farther away from the head...
