i need a poem about age

please help me i like somebody alot. but he keeps telling me he likes me to but our age is the only thing holding us being together back i keep telling him age is noting but a number but he dont seem to understand. help me please

They all say that it will never last
before to long you will be someone in my past
They all say that you are young and childish
But if they only knew how much I love you, I wish
They all say that he don't even know what love is
But what they don't know is that my heart belongs with his
They all say that I am broken heart bound
But what they don't see is that, when I need someone there he is always around
Everyone talk about us, but most of all his mother
They just don't understand that we have a bond like no other
They all say that he needs to grow up, but he will always be my man
So come with me my love and take me by the hand
I will just let them all talk about me and him
Because in the end our love will show all of them...
