Poetry from the heart

Poetry is a beautiful form of art, found years and years ago it has never failed to enchant many, many people. well, deeply, for me, to be able to write wonderful poems that would never fail to captivate the soul, one should write poetry from the heart. to give shape to poetry one must actually dig deep into the wonders that the heart can feel, and then expose those creative ideas by letting the mind construct the words. anyone can write poetry, rhyme or free-verse it really doesnt matter, and every poem is wonderful when it comes from the heart, every poem is pleasing when it comes from the heart, and as such no matter how simple or complex the poet's style may be, the poem would always be as beautiful as how the poet created it, for nothing can ever be as beautiful than the heart's masterpiece!

I think its a combination of heart and soul as previously mentioned, life and experience, emotion and devotion...honesty and realism...

I love 'poets' all so spiritual aren't you?

There are no limits for the art of writing, I agree with what has been said.
Any one can be a writer there are no special techniques needed.
The way I see it is that it all boils down to this a quote that I've learned and lived by when it has come to writing...

I agree. Poetry is a form of art. But I don't think it comes from the heart. For me, it is the mind. Where each individual thought embeds within and inspires you to write.
