Don't give up

If something deep inside keeps inspiring you to try,
Then believe it from right from the very start,
Don't give up on it and don't you cry.
Because the things that is inspiring you comes from the heart.

Sometimes life can place a stumbling block in your way,
But you just have to work around it and you will achieve,
Just think of what you want at the end of the day,
Hold to your dreams, don't give up, and always believe.

When you believe that you can do this, you know that you can win,
Because you believe that you can make it, you can make it through the night,
When you have enough faith in yourself, your life can begin,
Don't let anyone get you down, Hold on to your feelings tight.

You gotta walk with your head up really high,
Don't let the world ever make you fall down.
Live life believing you can reach the sky,
Wear a happy smile and not a frown.

Unfortunate

Darkness falls on the unfortunate
All they see is black
No one cares about them
Happiness is what they lack

We as people should help them
Why should they pay?
Why must we all forget
That could be us one day

~One Good Friend~

One good friend,
is all that you need.
They have to be honest,
trustworthy, and easy to read.

One person who will
always be on your side.
With no distrust or deceit,
with nothing to hide.

You have to be able
to tell them a secret.
And believe that, for sure,
they will always keep it.

You have to be able
to tell them your past.
If they try to comfort you,
your friendship will last.

You have to be able
to tell them whats wrong.
If they're a good friend,
they'll help you along.

Too bad best friends
are not easy to find.
Life would be easier,
if best friends were assigned.

~Internal War~

It's hard to gauge all this rage that I feel.
It's hard to cage all this anger that's real.
It's hard to contain all this pain that's inside,
but inside me forever, this pain will reside.

I feel that things around me are moving too fast.
My body is in the future, while my mind's in the past.
Problems from before hurt me now even more.
This isn't just a battle, it's an eternal war.

An internal war that cannot be let out.
A burning fire that will never burnout.
Although, I wish this pain never came,
I refuse to become just another derailed train.

Learning To Kiss Life

Kissing the water with
My fingertips dancing
Along the flowing waves.

Loving the sunshine
Allowing me to see
Through the palm trees.

Touching the sand without
Even moving my hands.
Thinking about you.

I know you worry about me.
I worry about you too.
But I’m kissing life.

Drink in my hand with
The straw bent and
There is a bird singing to me.

Guitar leaning against
The base of the tree.
Now I wish I knew how to play.

Strumming my words with
Every pull of the string.
Releasing my pain from the world.

I know you miss me.
I miss you too.
But I'm learning to kiss life.

Surfers pounding the
Ocean with their boards.
Hearing everything I feel.

Buckets being pressed
Into the sand.
Children wiping their dirty hands.

Rocks longing for the
Youth to climb and then
Jump being so free.

I know that you need me.
Hell I need you too.
But I’m kissing life.

What Is Life?

What is Life?
Is it breathing the sweet air as you run and play?
Is it the lovely scent of a newly baked cake?
Is it reminiscing on a beautiful day?
Is it summer fun, down by the lake?

What is Life?
Is it spending time with your best ever friend?
Is it the thrill of the newly discovered?
Is it writing long letters to send?
Is it looking into the eyes of a lover?

Life is;
Dying in polluted air we cannot see
Becoming poisoned by the devils bake
Reliving a painful memory
The freezing winter we cannot escape

Life is;
Missing someone who said they'd stay until you die
Finding nothing, when you prayed above
Writing a letter, and recieving no reply
Losing someone you love

Don't Judge Me

Life is so funny
as we run around achieving hidden tasks
with one mother called money
and hiding face under different masks

don't judge me by my face
i lost the real one in my childhood
my foots are not worth for you to trace
as my principles are always misunderstood

don't judge me by my smile
though i do laugh sometimes for awhile
i have a river of sorrow in my veins
and my smile makes me look insane

and don't you please judge me by my tears
i am so glad that i have something called life
my black book of fate has everything so clear
and every tear drop of mine has something to hide

life is just so much funny
as we curse others for our misery
and we run around for some filthy money
so we forget behind that mask, the real me

so don't you judge me by my promises
as i have learned the art to lie elegantly
time has made deep scars in my senses
truth dies at the edge of my lips so silently

don't judge me by what i write
as i mean nothing for what i feel inside
but life is so funny as i find
my smile has so much to hide

Life

I keep wondering most of the time
sometimes about these relations
but most of the time about meaning of life

without love,hate & pain
this world would go insane
some people stand upto crisis, some fall
some treat life as a part of misery
some people rise & some loose control
some take life as a beautiful journey
some tries to ignore their heart's call
some just know how beautiful life could be
no matter what, some just stand tall
and above all
they wonder too
like i do
sometimes about dreams
or how happy there life is
atleast that's how it seems
