~Red Water~

Not, 15 years out of the womb,
a boy's best friend lay in his tomb.
With nothing to be done or said,
what once was blue turned a violent red.
A vacant expression on his face,
ensured this would be his final resting place.
The one true gift in life is time,
that boy's best friend was also mine.

-This poem is about a cousin of mine (14 years old), who I was in a boating accident with. It was late at night, and it was me, him, and my uncle (his father). We hit a sand barge and my cousin was thrown from the boat. He hit his head on a rock and bled to death before we got him to shore :. (

Bird

I prayed to God
And made a wish
I hoped it would come true
I wished to be a bird

If I were a bird
I could escape my anger and sorrow
My hopes and my pains

If I were a bird
I could leave this life far behind me
Never look back and be happy

If I were a bird
My fears couldn't catch me
I would be free

I hoped god would grant my wish
I hoped that he would help me
When I asked him, he never answered
But I knew that he heard me

One day as I was walking past a bridge
I found my self looking over it
At the water far below

I got up on the railing
And made my wish again
While spreading my arms out wide

I hoped god would answer
I hoped he would grant my wish
And then I jumped

For I moment I was flying
I thought that it had worked
But then I was going down

The water was rushing closer
Fear grabbed my chest
And a tear rolled down my cheek

As I hit the water I prayed
Then there was darkness
And I was in front of God

Why didn't you help me? I screamed
He turned away and whispered
I can't do everything

Tsunami

Silver seas and oceans deep
A rushing wave, as the innocent sleep
Never to waken, never to see
The water gushing, finally free

Crashing upon the poverty
Of an already poor nation
Relying on the ecstasy
Of a richer mans donation

Drowning in the thickened mud
Battered, and revealed
As houses crumble with a thud
The waters pact is sealed

Silver seas and oceans deep
A rushing wave, as the innocent sleep
Never to waken, never to see
The water gushing, finally free

Men and women, children too
Fight a losing battle
As the water, purest blue
Kills remaining cattle

Shouting out, in vain, for aid
Clinging to the roof of a shed
For our rich lives, the poor have payed
One hundred thousand, dead

TITANIC LOVE (The Story of Rose and Jack)
Adapted from the movie "Titanic"

The last of the lamps go out
The titanic tastes her last air
Her lips kiss the icy liquid
As she leaves behind deathly despair

Fifteen hundred mortals fight for life
Trying to grip the Atlantic water
Gasping screams poison the air
As rose and jack search for each other

She had plunged into the sea
With a promise on her lips
To never let go of his hands
But now estranged, their hearts flip

But they finally perceive each other
And their trembling fingers interlock
The warmth of love runs in their blood
And to the icy blue does seem to mock

Jack gasps and spurts out
`Rose! O Rose! You`re alive!
We`re going to make it through
It`s too soon to say goodbye,,,

Hold on to me and swim with me;
It`s the ship and not we that sank!`
The lovers fight the angry sea
To reach the safety of a wooden plank

Its sight takes rose back in time
To when it used to be a royal door
Behind this had they once kissed
Her heart and soul had jack explored

But now as he shivers, she is on the oak
And she is warm unlike his cruel plight
Ice has formed on his golden hair
But his love filled eyes sparkle bright

The piece of oak is too weak to endure
The encumbrance of the two
Jack shall freeze in the water
But rose shall rise about the icy blue

He makes her promise to never give up
To fight for life, she`ll live to be old
As the shivering jack breathes his last
And his handsome hands turn cold

Icicles form on rose`s eyes
She sobs and wails, `Jack! O Jack!
You promised that you wouldn`t leave
Please god, send him back,,,`

But jack does not return.
One last time she holds him near
One last time her lips meet hers
Then into the depths her jack disappears

Out of the fifteen hundred floating
Only six survive, including his rose
He died, but with love in his heart
In his every ruddy drop, from tips to toes

Jack Dawson cannot be forgotten
At least never by me
For his heart held the truest love
And a truest lover, was he.

the sad water...

Dip my finger into the sea
desperate to break the wild night
cold and smooth
form a glee
stay,linger , and die
immature torrents
crawling high, sobbing
brought the voice of..
reason.....
from the past
purple dream
the speecless eye
killing lonely
soundless movement
a cup of gloom
hiding peacefully
the dark sad water...
it just not enough
to make me
cry......

The angry beast bares its teeth
And growls a warning roar
Flexing every muscle
But still capable of more

It pounces upon those brave
Who dared to tame it's mind
It tears and maims until
Not a splinter's left behind

Those humans who claim power
Can't match or beat this fire
Beating every city
And crushing all empires

From the back of the boat I muse
Watch this flowing energy
Humans may rule the earth
But they'll never train the sea

Fire Water

Fire Water engulfs your soul
Incases you whole
Burns you ten fold

Fire water lives
In the pain it gives
In the grains of life it sifts

Fire water extingushes
All intuitions
About unexpected emotions

Fire water sets free
The true being
Inside me

Fire water betrays
The suns rays
And kills the days

Dream

Sitting at the edge of a river
as the sound of water touch my feets
deep inside this river there is a light
through the reflection of a lonely moon
i keep staring at the reflection
until it start smiling at me too

i know its a dream which won’t last for long
but i see a path through this river to reach you
so i step forward, not knowing if its right or wrong
on this path unknown with your face in my eyes
i kept drowning till i could feel no more

trusting this smiling moon i keep following to nowhere
flashback in my mind of life i am leaving behind forever
no remorse as no one will miss me or would even care

as i keep walking i see my words i ever wrote for you
coming out of my book which is floating through
and i could touch them as they whisper in my ears
raising my heartbeat and blending this river with my tears

i can see your arms at the edge of this endless river
and could feel love waiting to embrace my soul
the more i get close to moon, the more my heart quiver

tardily, this river turns into red
as the moon is set on fire
i think the dawn is here again
once again murdering my desires

its been years having the same dream
for once if i could reach the other end
and could see that waiting beautiful sight
if for once i could reach before day's maiden light

im giving this another day then ill judge

The creek

I'm sitting by the creek
the creek is a way they speak

they speak of nothing much
nothing much is worth while

while the trickling water flows
flows over the little pebbles

pebbles without an error
an error is like nothing

nothing is like everything
everything is wild

wild that speaks
speaks around the creek

the creek that I'm sitting by
I'm sitting by a resting animal

a resting animal has to breath
breath for life

life is the creek
the creek that I'm sitting by
