Hey everyone,

I too saw Missunderstood's Idea and liked it but I am adding a couple changes.
They are all song names. But you can pick whichever one you want to do, so there can be multiple poems with the same name.
You may use as much profanity and such as you want

Prizes
1st = 4 detailed comments and votes and I will write a poem based on your previous work.
2nd = 3 detailed comments and votes
3rd = 2 detailed comment and votes
4th = 1 detailed comment and vote
5th-10th = My sympathy :P

about a girl i love, whose leaving the city next year

NEXT YEAR ..By a boy called Dhaval

Today I saw a Robin perched upon my pane
His eyes so blue, made me think of you
But as I gazed, it suddenly flew
And left me with but that tint of blue

Somehow it seems, joy forsake me
And with the bird. hope fluttered away
For now I knew that a year was left
‘Til you too would, flutter away

But now I see the glass half full
Maybe this goodbye isn’t forever
Life’s too long not to meet again
This isn’t the final parting ever

Just as the robin shall soon come flying
To adorn my window once again
So shall you magically drop from the sky
If not as an angel, perhaps as rain

It won’t be very long before
I can see that smile of yours, so sweet
After a year, I know you’ll leave
But I know our roads are destined to meet

Imagine me as I walk in a café
Unaware of the shocking surprise
As we see each other on opposite tables
And I am greeted by that splendid smile

Or one day our cars might collide
I know first anger shall swamp me
But upon knowing it is you who drive
It’ll turn to bliss, like alchemy

Or at the wedding of a common friend
Commonness unknown, till we meet
Or simply on a rainy day, on a rainy street
We’ll stumble upon each others feet

But something doesn’t feel too right
These happy dreams themselves assault
As the robin’s unending absence I perceive
Yours too, as imagination comes to a halt

How I hate the power of this mind
A summer dream, clinging to hope
Its imagined things never to be
How will this forsaken me, ever cope?

But presently, I’ll just bottle up time
And try and force a hopeful grin
That one day you'll be mine again
Because you're my blue-eyed Robin.

Blood drips from my veins,
like rain from the sky.
Hits the carpet like a waterfall,
sitting here, waiting to die.

I start bleeding profusely,
after one last slit.
My body starts to shiver,
my brain and heart start to quit.

I can feel the blood dripping,
not just on the floor.
It's running down my arm,
can't feel pain anymore.

My eyes close and re-open,
now I can't see.
My body is breaking down,
there is nothing left of me.

I try to stand, but I can't,
and crash down to the floor.
Now, I start to see things,
I've never seen before.

A bright light and a hand,
that is held out toward me.
I think to myself, is it God,
no way, it couldn't be...

Please don’t take over me
I am someone you don’t want to be
I get made fun of ever day
and I never get things my way

I feel as if I don’t belong
Like everything I do is wrong
can’t help but to say
you don’t want to take over me no way!

I cry everyday and I don’t know why
I often wish I can just die
I have no feelings when it comes to happiness
I have never in my life been kissed

So you don’t want to take over me

I have nothing in this world
I am just a little girl

The day is beginning
Light breaks through
Wind blows softly
All around you

Sleeping on the couch
Musky beer smell
Bottles surround him
Creating a shell

He remembers nothing
Not you, not last night
Just empty blackness
Aided by alcohal and sprite

People will wonder
Maybe for days or years
The perfect mystery
Covered in beer

You will be forced
To join other lost souls
Forever wander the Earth
You have no control

The sun shines brightly
It makes no difference though
Because dead people
Cast no shadow

almost infamous

i came so close, i almost did it,
almost became the terrible monster
that in in-school suspension does sit
disruptive kid that never says yes sir

but no, no matter how i tried
and tried that just wasnt my fate
and in the end i couldnt so i sighed
for id perish before i was a smidgeon late

these great staight A grades
show my disgusting shameful failing
for a dirty mad delinquent made
is something that I never could sing

so here i am in my graduation gown
on my way to the big brown stage
i suppose i musnt ever show a frown
even though i failed at being teenage

hit the floor

It's too late to save me now
I've already hit the floor
And the fingers pressing 911
Mean nothing any more

This time it really happened
I looked straight into his eyes
He said it was punishment
As I fell from the blue skies

My life, it flashed before me
And I saw every single sin
The people fade around me
I disappear from the room I'm in

The medics can do nothing
As I am slowly slipping away
The things I would have done
If I knew it was my last day

Suddenly I'm filled with regret
And I wish he could forgive
But I know I've done too wrong
It's a life I wish I could relive

I'm falling faster and faster
Trying to run from the door
But it's too late to save me now
I've already hit the floor

The blood is yet to cool
Upon her perfect snow white skin
Where it was left to pool

In the cold light of morning
Her veins were torn apart
By something unfamiliar
To the innocents young heart

In the cold light of morning
This girl was made to sleep
Against her better judgement
She knows she’s in too deep

In the cold light of morning
She faced a gruesome beast
She named it “our society”
The bit she liked the least

In the cold light of morning
She was forced to conform
But innocence chose death instead
And so her blood marks “dawn”

No point or reason for living
Aimlessly wandering on
Knowing it makes no difference
No one will notice when your gone.
Slowly fading from existence
Leaving nothing behind
Gradually falling away,
Leaving nothing for people to find.

For life has come full circle
Though both highs and low
And now it’s time to fade away
From this world you must go.
Nothing remains of who you were.
Just an empty shell and nothing more,
Everything else left this world,
The day you hit the floor.

The worst is when you love someone,
as more than just a friend.
She teases you and flirts with you,
to you it's not pretend.

All her friends will tell you,
"I think she likes you too."
You'll knod and shake your head,
as if you already knew.

But, inside you are always questioning,
if to her it's just a game.
But, you're in love, it makes no difference,
to you it's all the same.

You sit with her when your alone,
and try to take things further.
No further than a hug or kiss,
and she's labeled you a pervert.

Now things are all messed up,
because you had thought wrong.
She didn't really like you,
you were right all along.

Sometimes, when you're in love,
you take things more to heart.
When it comes to women,
men have no clue where to start.

My blood drained into the sea years ago
I got zero dignity left in total

in the wind the trees rustling
in the leaf-litter anilmals, hustling
family of beetles slowly trudging
colums of ants, quickly bustling
but where is the man that you fear?

his eyes as blue as sky, staring
hair black as despair is flaring
black is the cloak he is wearing
mouth as hard as marble, glaring
here is the man that you fear

through the trees you flee, running
her peruses, his feet on earth drumming
over root and rock, stumbling
deep inside your heart is pumping
run from the man that you fear!

in haste over hidden vines, slipping
an ankle caught, skin ripping
cry as you fall, blood dripping
he moves in and holds you tight, gripping
he, the man that you fear

a cold hand apon your cheek
in yout throat a piercing shriek
his hair on your face, sleek
fear melts, now mild and meek
why did this man you fear?

yet as you kiss, breath he drains
your veins how alight with pain
he draws you in, you try to refrain
he drags you back, your life to gain
this is why this man you fear!

the world begins to spin, dark
far off singing, death's mark
havenly singing, angels hark
to far off feet running as you lie, stark

alone below the trees, lying

Fuck Fashion

I’m sick of all the models,
Parading around in space aged gear,
Trying to sell us impractical outfits,
By telling us what’s hot this year.

They don’t have to wear this shit,
They just have to make it look its best,
So that when the unsuspecting go shopping,
They buy the tacky gorilla vest.

It reminds me of Halloween,
All of the outfits that come forth,
Making some models look like zombies,
Or frozen corpses from the north.

And I’ve never seen them smile,
They all look like they’re about to die,
Then again if I had to wear that stuff,
I’d probably have the same look in my eye.

These models continue selling it,
Cause the world continues to buy,
So fuck fashion and what it represents,
Show them we don’t want their fabric and dyes.

Lets show them we have a soul,
And we have a mind to think on our own,
We’re not pathetic robots,
Nor are we a clone.

Then maybe this mental mind warp,
Would finally cease to exist,
And the fashion industry would fade away,
Or at least it’s iron fist.
