Is there a nicer way?

Okay so this guy asked me out about a week ago, and normally I avoid getting into a relationship at all cost. But I thought maybe this time I would be able to connect with another person, so I said yes. I was wrong. He is really sweet, but he's intense. He calls me everyday and has even said "I love you". But the thing he loves (if he is telling the truth) isn't really me, it's my overly sweet version that I use on people I don't know very well. I relized that I don't feel anything positive to him at all. So I really want to dump him, but I don't know how. I can't stand to hurt someones feelings, because I know how much that can mess a you up. He's going through a really hard time as it is, and he's kind of an angry person. I don't want to come off as a bitch for leading someone on. So I want to know, is there any nice way to tell someone you just don't like them, after they have spilled their soul to you? any suggestions would be great.

tell the truth girl.... most guys respect the truth and if they don't then it would be more fun to hurt them :) but sooner rather than later or u really will be leading him on...

Maybe before getting into a relationship, you should know the person next time.

But..come up with some lame excuse, like, i dont want a bf, or maybe just tell him its just not working out

Yeah, I agree, next time you should try getting into a relationship were you actually deeply know the person, this way there will be no surprizes in the end.

When you "dump" him, I sugest just telling him the truth..
