My Turn: The Cryptogram Game

I'll start with an easy one. Don't post your answers until later, so other people will get a chance to solve it. I'll check back to let you know when to post the solution. Happy deciphering!

For those who don't know how to do a cryptogram, it is very easy. Find the original quote or phrase by deciphering the puzzle. Each letter represents a letter from the orignal quote or phrase. For example, every 'c' in the actual quote may appear as a 'g' above. Which means g=c throughout the puzzle. Once you decode it, you will have the quote or phrase.

Well, I guess you can post your answers now. If you're interested, that is.

Okay, Bob! I see I'm not the only lover of cryptograms. This one is a little harder (of course not for you Bob), but for others hopefully.

And we have our winner, ladies and gentlemen. The cryptogram champion, BOB SHANK!!!!! WOOO-HOO!!!

Final Score: Bob 26, Hansrik 4, Everybody else 0

Thanks for playing! Hope you enjoyed yourselves. Hansrik maybe you'll beat Bob in a rematch.

  • HansRik

Wait, I could not possibly participate in this, because I was sleeping. Have you ever considered time zones? Oh well, I will be a good loser then.

Or... I can demand a rematch, but let us wait till July for that. Then, I wil be able to fight better. Now, duty calls me.

  • HansRik

Jackson, tsk tsk, shame on you. You wanted Bob and I to fight over some cryptograms... Shame, shame... Haha.

  • Superior Jackson

I'm sorry! I'm a lover of the game, and when I saw to willing participants, I thought: WAR! WAR! WAR! (lol)

(Actually Hansrik, time did occur to me, but it was about an hour after I declared Bob the winner. So for fairness, how about this: Since Bob was doing it for fun, and you had a disadvantage of time, this match will be considered trial and error.

So the real battle will begin in July. We should get our times straight, so their will be no confusion.

@ this moment it is 9:49 a.m. central time here in Mississippi.

    What are your time zones?

Oh and Bob, about the last one, I had never done that type before until I start doing cryptograms @ all-star puzzles. I find them to be a little more interesting.

Do not worry. I am studying the human nature at the moment, and Realists would understand your competitive motivation. I am currently GMT, but will be GMT-6 (Mexican Central Time) in July. It is 1558 here, in England.

I will not be on here a lot during the next two months, due to more pressing issues of scholastic nature. I am sure many will enjoy that as well. Till later, then.

This is entertaining...simply because i am at a loss of how you all can do this. Haha.

    Keep it up!
