does anyone know a discussion website were ppl can go for professional advise about their problems?
im getting a little worried now you see, bcz ive always suffered frm slight anxiety attacts since i was only about 3years of age. but as i've got older it seems to have got a whole lot better and i hadnt had one for like a year. but last nyt wen i was at my friends little gathering, i dnt no what happend, i just tripped out rly bad, i couldnt beathe, i had pins and needles up my thighs and in my hands, i was uncontrollably shaking all over, my heart wasbeating so fast, when i spoke it was like i wasnt there, like a dream or something and it was really scaring me. stuff was just happening, it was so scary, i actually felt like i was going to die.
im rly worried its going to start up again much worse, but il havnt said anything to my family because my mums really stressed and depressed at the moment because my grandad just died and shez no coping terribly well and i dont want to put anymore stress on her by telling her.
i just wan to know wats happening to me and how i can make it stop. ??

Yeh - see a doctor, it's part of a personality disorder, and it's best cured.

    Anxiety at three??

Man thats messed up at 3 I was playing with butterflies and rainbows without a care in the world I didn't even know of anxiety or issues...

I think you should see a counsellor or doctor face to face rather than behind the mask of the internet because it sounds like you need serious professional help that you should have got years ago...

I agree. AD's can get serious .. VERY serious. And it's important that they're treated ASAP.

but the thing is.. i no this sound so pathetic and it is.. but i get rly embaraseed and upset talking to ppl face to faceabout it. i never ever discu it, not even to close friends. and another thing im woried about, if i did go to a doctor, would my mum find out wat was hapening? i dnt want her to, shes upset lately cz her dad just died, and i dnt wnt 2 be an added inconvinience, it would be so arkward....

Hey Im sure there are plenty of good listeners within this site - not to offer professional or medical advise that I know of - but to be an ear, who are a lil older wiser and are great at being friends - email me if you wanna chat :o)

Yeah I would definately suggest seeing a doctor, isn't there some kind of medication that helps anxiety?

If you want to talk to me, feel free. I honestly have experience with people who suffer from anxiety disorders . . .

You can get medication, or see a psychiatrist - just depends which you prefer.
