Confusing Things

Ok, there's this guy that i've like for 3 yrs...well, the other day he tells me that his girlfriend doesn't like him that much at the moment because she knows I'm his second choice. We're already BFFs, and since that day he's been closer to me, and smiling more. And I know him enough to know he wouldn't lie to me like that. But does me being his 2nd choice mean that he actually likes me? Or that I'm pretty and that he'd go out with me?

And besides, a "second choice" is only a back up incase the first one fails. Kind of a n insult really.

honey ask him! o and umm if you do make sure he does not lie to you talk to his friends and never go with someone if you are a second choice. tha is a back up plan and we as females should not be a back up thing..........we are not guns or places to eat ok?
