MY DREAM
Its Christmas time and everyone’s merry
The ball seems to go on all night
They’re waiting for the Christmas fairy
The lamps are glowing sparkling bright

11 o clock on Christmas eve
I'm stranded at home and theyre calling
Captive in a valley of make-believe
I try to climb up but I'm just falling.

There is not a soul in sight
Streets all empty but for the snow
Not even couples on this holy night
Are kissing underneath the mistletoe

Every beggar is in the town hall
Wearing dresses which aren’t frayed
I cannot hear but the reindeers call
As I write my sad serenades

Friends and family all dressed up
Now dance to a tune so fine
One of my pals just called up
Asking me to join all in this merry time

But I don’t really feel so spirited
The trembling hope wont go away
ive waited long though patience is limited
but I think I’ll just wait another day

the night is cold but I feel colder
the night has lost its golden sheen
waiting more will only make me older
but I just cant let go the sight of the screen.

Waiting for that clanging sound
Which could just be your email
But could it just be another Judas
And not the holy grail?

And finally a sound is heard
Hope takes over my weary mind
But its just the bells at the party
Its midnight and they begin to dine

Two more hours pass by
They party on, its almost dawn
But hope has made my sleep fly
And left me alone and forlorn

They’re returning from the ball
And they’re making such a din
But I hear that sound after all
And I rush to my electric screen

The windows open up so fast
I see your name emerge
The joy I feel is deep and vast
Contentment clears out the dirge

Finally you had replied
I read every word a hundred times
I imagine you reading my email
As you correct my mysterious rhymes

No gifts underneath the Christmas tree
Just the tree and lonely me
But no gift could have ever compared
To the one I had received

No gift could’ve made me this happy
No box of toys topped with a red bow
No one could’ve ever cared less than me
If this Christmas was devoid of snow

But another sound begins to ring
I cant believe my ears,
i hope its just a deceitful lie
But the alarm clock reduces me to tears

But I’ll just get over it
Its happened so many times before
I'm almost so used to it
That I just slump back on the floor.

Every second of the dream I dreamed
Could’ve sworn that it was real
Words are too weak to express
The sadness that I feel.

I walk away
Under a lot of stress
Maybe I'll take the day off
And play a little chess

Feel My Pain

Feel my pain
as my soul scream
it scream a name
miss understood
not known to be.

Feel my truth
almost forgotton now
of a life miss used
complete abuse
by me

Feel my tears
every night they come
never letting go
they will not ever
be done.

I made one mistake
that follows in my path
I cannot seem
to run as fast
as this shadow
screaming of my past
so as I die here
just know its ok
what you see here is a shell
nothing more
than an empty space
that once was me

You are always there,
Through the times that i was scared.
You were there when i needed someone to hold,
You were the person who never told.
When i first met you i thought you were kind,
But now that we are parted, i am blind.
You asked me one night,
To be with you, things would turn out alright,
But as time passed away,
I had something to say.

My grandpa died, and i wanted to tell you,
But valentines day would never come through.
I never got anything that day,
But i knew what you were trying to say.
That night i cried and i was alone,
I didn't call you because i couldn't use the phone.
I was so sad and depressed, i had no where to go,
I lied in my bed and look out my window.
I saw the stars, they twinkled in with light,
And that reminded me of that happy night.
Nobody could make me happier, when i was with you,
Our relationship was wonderful and true,
But that day you broke my heart,
And told me you would rather start,
on another relationship, to just be friends,
and he would be there to the very end.

Three weeks went by,
and he never even said "hi".
I told myself things would never workout,
And now i realized there is no need to shout,
He talked to me at the end of last week,
And he said we need to be friends, and our friendship he did seek.
Ever since then, we have been the best of friends,
And we both realize now, we will be there for each other till the end.

Tears of Pain

My anguish falls like rain
Upon the sheer glass floor
I cannot stand to look into it
Reminding me of myself before

It seems like they wont cease
The deluge pouring without end
It is my heart spilling its secrets
No hand for anyone to lend

I feel so alone in the world
Am I the only one who cries?
Its like no one cares to pay attention
Like no one even wants to try

So as my pain cascades into eternity
No one will even hear
Im forlorn, injured, and elapsed
My Tears of Pain keeping my fear

~Broken Heart~

I am giving you your final warning,
cut the sh** and quit your mourning.
You're going to be fine, you see,
the one who's given up is me.

We've been done many times before,
you are, no longer, who I adore.
This is it, we cannot continue,
I have lost myself within you.

Now, I'm trying to find who I am,
but with you around I can't.
This is not just another break,
forget about me for heaven's sake.

I just can't take this added stress,
I quit this never-ending quest.
Time is needed, for me to think,
of this mountain, I've reached the brink.

Now, It's time for me to come down,
I refuse to continue to wear this frown.
We had good times, yes I'll admit,
but reality is, I'm sick of your sh**.

Rain

Falling droplets; they say the gods cry.
but they are not the tears of a child lord
nor the weeping of a mourning goddess
that hateful resounding noise above
is not the anger of almighty Zeus

no, the heavens are not so sad
human punishment is not so anger filled
the gods laugh, not scorn
that rain is god's joke on sinful beings
spit not tears falls from the heavenly bodies
the gods bowl in lands of the divine. they laugh.

why cry when they reside in a world
where the days are intertwined
when they live in a painless paradise
so gods giggle and mock
the horrible race of man.

Rain

rain, something i think of
it reminds me of you
the day we met
our hair stuck to our faces
my make-up smeared
i looked up at you and smiled
water dripping off your nose
our eyes met,
it didn't matter how wet we were
then a car, a puddle
well you know
the moment lost
then we got on to the train
we sat together and whispered
about nothing
but about everything
it wasn't even our stop
but we got off any way
dancing in the rain
I've never felt this way before
then you kissed me
everything vanished
adn we went our seperate ways
all of this just because of the rain

It could never be theirs,
This love that we share,
There's a bond they cannot make,
No Chemistry could learn to break.

My love for you a river,

Like a letter- sealed and signed,
My love is no match for time.

Your love has conquered mountains,
Purer than a dozen fountains,
It thrilled me - every part,
Then you placed it in my heart.

Our love is is quite euphoric!
For although it's prehistoric,
Whether future, present , past-
My love- your love- OUR love will last.

Hidden truths within one’s mind,
Locked away in a dark corner
There for others to try to find.
Locked away within a stone case,
Granite cold to feel,
The course grains scratch upon the skin
Hidden secrets, under locks of steel
Buried away from the world
Never allowed to be seen,
Fearing that they will be discovered
That someone may get though the protective screen
Find the hidden chest within
And break though the locks of steel
See within deep within your darkest thought
Where you’re secrets shall start to reveal.
So you lock them up tighter
Deep within your mind
Locked away in a dark corner
There for others to try to find.
