Prom problem

Today at lunch one of my friends asked if I would take him with me to the prom (because he heard me telling my other friend that I didn't have anyone to go with because the person I was supposed to go with couldn't go and I had extra money to buy a ticket with). I told him I'd buy him a ticket (and I did). When another one of my friends found out that he asked me and I bought him a ticket, she got mad. She was like "I was going to ask him because he's my friend too." But I told her that he asked me and that I didn't realize she'd get mad and that I couldn't return the ticket. Then a few minutes later she told me that she wasn'tmad anymore...but I still think she is. What should I do?

I would still go with him. I mean he asked YOU, and he chose you. Even though she's your friend too, so is he, and she should respect that he asked you first.

Is there a chance she has a crush on him? If you don't, you could always nudge him towards going with her, or you could do like a group thing if she doesn't find a date. Only sugestoins.

there wouldn't really be a point in not going with him. He probably has a crush on you. She probably has a crush on him, and well, it seems like a lose lose situation to me, if I am right about the liking circle. For your sake, I hope I am wrong. But, if he asked you first, he probably has a crush on you.

I surely hope he has a crush on me because I have a crush on him. One of my other friends actually told him that I had a crush on him and he kind of smiled and stuff, but he didn't say anything. Although he didn't start acting like this until he broke up with his last girlfriend. I know she likes him because she told me she does, but I don't know. I'm just going with him as a friend. When we get to the prom we have to sit at the same table but so are all of my other friends, and we are just like going as friends. But today she claimed that he came up to her and asked her if she was mad at him but she told him no even though I could kind of tell she was.

go to the prom with him, then after the prom try to pull out of things a little, and make it work between ur frnd and ur prom mate :)

She told me the other day that she doesn't care anymore if we go together to the prom...But when we hang all over each other she kind of looks a little hurt. She had to leave today before she could see him after school...but he found me...It was like raining and he offered to share his umbrella with me because I didn't have one...He was so sweet, but I am kind of glad she didn't see because I don't want her to get mad at me again... I just don't know.

Seems as though you and this guy like each other, and your friend is just getting jealous. Don't hold back with what you could have with him on her account though.

I don't want to...but I kind of feel bad for her too. I mean I don't want her to feel bad. Expecially because all the prom tickets are sold out and we are still going and she doesn't have a ticket. And when we were leaving school he like started talking to me and pulling me away from her and hugging me and stuff. Though later she did tell him what was wrong but she told him not to tell me. After that he told me he'd call me later on tonight because he had to leave and do something for school.
