Too Humpty Dumpty

I have recently become very upset with my writing. Although, I have been able to find inspiration to write, my poems have lacked depth. I haven't exactly found what I need to find to bring my poetry to that next level. You can check out my poems if you'd like and any suggestions would be much appreciated...

    Thanks!

Well, not that this will help much, but the topic reminded me of a question I've had for a long time... Does it actually ever say that Humpty Dumpty is infact an egg???

But anywho, sticking with the topic, I'd say just try diving into something new. Whether it be different style, or rhyme (or no rhyme at all!!! I've tried this a few times and I'm actually growing acustom to it - I like it much more than I used to), structure or topics - there's so much you can fiddle with and the only way you will ever get close to impressing yourself is to try something that challenges you atleast a little bit.
I too have trouble keeping myself happy with the things I write. Infact, most of the things I write I think are crap - but the more I look around the more people I see that enjoy them or appreciate the message (whatever it may be). So I'm very thankful for that as it is a huge confidence boost. Maybe that's what you need to?
Well I don't know for sure. But I wish you the best of luck :)

Sean, youre doing too many contests. try stopping that and doing something else, i mean, try delving into your past...your sadness. Your losses, and write in emotion.

I usually try to hint at my past for some of mine and even though it is really hard to have those feelings all over again at times, I think it makes the reader able to feel the same things.
