Nothing is working. Please help.

Okay, my friend who i've liked for the past 2 months, likes me as well. He is too scared to do anything and i don't know why. He knows how much i like him. When i looked at him in the hall yesterday, i knew he saw me. Instead of saying hi, he turned beat red, and acted like he didn't see me. He told this to my friend Kathy. I understand that he's nervous, so i've been giving it time. The thing is, my friend Jimnmy likes me too, and everyone knows it. When he flirts with me, Chris gets extremely jealous and tries to control me. He says i shouldn't like anyone else and that if Jimmy flirts with me again, he will kick his ass. I kind of feel hurt when he says that he thinks the other guys that like me, don't like me for my personality. He gets very paranoid, and continuously asks my best friend if i still like him. He says he is worried i'm going to like another guy. If he's so worried and doesn't want me to end up with another guy, why doesn't he ask me out? Someone please help. What do i do? I've done everything i can to try and move things along, but nothing seems to work. I even took advice given to me on here before, but it doesn't seem to work.

If you like him that much why dont you make the first move? ...... DUH!
Thats the only thing i could come up with anyways
but remember if he's your friend being in a relationship could ruin the friendship in the long run .. if your willing to risk it then go for it dont wait for him just ask him out! well yea good luck with that ...

Thanks for the advice, but i already made the first move by telliing him how i felt. It would be great if he made the next. Ruining my friendship is what i'm scared of, but he's the sweetest guy i've ever known.

At least you have been honest with him and yourself and will have no regrets...you never know if you don't try and youd kick yourself if you didnt express your true feelings always wondering what could have been...Good luck let us know how it goes

Maybe he's doing a case of being posessive?
Or maybe he just has some commitment problems, and Eirisa is right, if you dont give it a shot, if you like him A LOT, then you will regret it,
i've made that mistake and its the one thing i regret the most in my life, considering im still in love with the guy.

Sit and talk to him, from your heart, and just ask him whats the problem...

Yeah, you guys are right. Yesterday my friend saw him looking at this house and he said it was amazing, and it reminded him of me. My friend asked why, and he said because it was pretty, and it was big enough for a family one day :D. I like this guy more then any guy i've ever liked before. I know i will regret it if i don't take a chance. Thanks for the advice, and i will let you know what happens.

I took some of your advice and my friend knows how i feel. He said the most romantic thing, but is still too nervous. He is trying to make a move. I can't get him off my mind. Every song i listen to, makes me think of him. He drew me a rose and said he's afraid to approach me and tell me how he feels because he might sound too corny. I'm going to confront him Monday, and see what happens. Thanks for your advice. Now that i've told him, he is a lot more open with his feelings. We both are just nervous about the friendship issue. We don't want to ruin it. Oh i also need advice on how to keep my mind off of him. He is constantly on my mind. I go into dazes, and my friends think i'm ignoring them. Any advice would be helpful.
