Today April 29th 2006 is dedicated to Sunny & Bob proud soon to be parents....

The members of CC&P and EOP have dedicated this very special day to two very special people . As everyone knows Sunny & Bob are expecting twins in August .
Everyone is welcome to join in the celebration . Let's give the twins a look into their future through our eyes . Everyone is welcome to post their poem .

Yay...I start...

O sweet scented buds
O new rays of the kingdom
Behold the ocean of love
in which thou art drowned
O pure dew drops
O tiny green leaves swinging
Freely from the branches
Breathe the air in,
Be filled with joy,
Touch the beauty of your angels,
Feel their greatness,
in the midst of all worries
there you rest in the shade
of two gracious trees
whose immensity of hearts
are hard for me to express
though as you know
no need to praise a breeze
with which everyone
has been touched.
Listen to the wind
carrying my message to you:
Behold your angels.

Two Hearts, One Love

Once upon a time
on an internet poetry site
two lonely people met
through words of rhyme

She's a hippy tree hugging freaky woman
with a beautiful and loving heart
her eyes reveal sadness and pain
but her smile brightens up the dark

He's a basketball junky and a dog lover
a good natured and generous man
his eyes hide all the sadness
but his heart shows the love he has to share

These two lonely people after chatting
found many traits in each to adore
that when they finally met in person
a wonderful loving bond was formed

This bond they have between them
has created a precious gift
not only one but two babes
now rest in the womb of their mom

Mom and dad are ecstatic
about the babes they will have
two tiny little creatures
to dote upon and give all their love

Mom will spoil these babes
and dad will be the tough one
but together they will build
a loving and safe family haven

So, to Sunny and Bob I say
I love you both with all my heart
you will be the best parents
any child could ever wish to have

With all the compassion and caring
the wisdom and love you'll give
add in what you have for each other
these babes will have all they need

To the babes waiting to be born
you both I love dearly too
you'll never want for anything
because of what God has given you

He has blessed you with two beautiful souls
no longer two lonely people
because now they are of one love
and also your mommy and daddy

Dedicated to Sunny, Bob and two precious babes.... you have touched my heart in many ways. I am truly blessed to have you in my life. I wish you much love and happiness and may all your dreams come true. You'll always be a part of my "family" and I love you!!

two little bundles of joy
one for each arm
blessed with mommy's smile
and daddy's loving charm

your big sisters, will guide you

then there is the P&Q family

awaiting the announcement that
the twins were born today

Blessed are the treasures
sent from up above
Created when two souls
find everlasting love

Casting away the darkness
of a shattered past
Putting faith in one another
building hope at last

Feeding on the strength
within each other's soul

Who would've ever thought
That my Cat Puke Buddy of all time
Is finding love with Gremlin Bob
(Drat, i can't find a rhyme)

As horrid this piece may be,

For only 5 minutes ago i found out
Bob and Sunny would soon chorus lullabies

Emotionally mature

Expressed with their poetry
Wisdom through experiences
The chance to teach the young
To guide them through the rough

The birth of two children
Blessed with two great parents
Where Love and lessons flourish
Molding their minds for the future

But it seems it has been years
Always bringing a positive voice

For total life management whom shall we thank?
I think none other than the author, Bob Shank
A proclaimed loner that should never be alone
A Poet Laureate that has denounced his throne

He writes to express to us each thought
About what is right, and what is not.
His friend Slavious may be uncouth
But Bob always seems to seek the truth

Though descended from a native son
He’s not so proud of all that’s been done
There’s no more honesty can you find
Than the one who freely speaks his mind

Tolerant, gentile and ever so mild
Except when there is abuse of a child
The very idea makes him so mad
I know he will make such a great dad

Sunny Day

We dream of sunshine peacefully in our own way
Light in the night soothes the darkness of the day
As the world turns from the sun it creates the night
A shadow of a planet produced by the heavenly light

In the dark the dreamer’s soul has yet to yearn
The truth is the passion that will forever burn
Passion that burns in the void of infinite spaces
Burns ever so brightly in the smallest of places

A neuron fires to make our finite mind see
The order of creation, fractions of eternity
What we cannot see in our mind at one time
Sleeps in our soul, the heart of the sublime

When the morning comes the sun will rise
Earth doesn’t always keep light from our eyes
We are elements and elements always return
Yet our essence moves on to rest or burn

Truth is God’s daughter, sister to the Son
One day. Heaven and earth shall be as one
It seems in the end we all die for a cause
Naturally accepting or rejecting the laws

We can follow the Life the Truth and the Way
Far from the darkness of death and lies’ I pray
I shall not desire to steal the heavenly thunder
Sunny days in the garden sets the storm asunder
